Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur: Higher risk of stroke from EXERCISING too h

Dr Somnath Roy, a mechanical engineer at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur outside Kolkata and lead author in the study, said: 'Intense exercise shows adverse effects on patients with moderate or higher stenosis levels. 'It substantially increases the shear stress at the stenosis zone, which may cause the stenosis to rupture.
