HIV testing 1 mth of exposure

hi all,

just wanna ask....

can i do a HIV test after about 35 days after exposure?
i know the window for HIV antibodies to develop is 3 mths for the normal test kit?


is there any other test to do to get 100% accurate result after 35 days?


and can the test be done in perth?

bro, I heard australia has the best hiv test that can get conclusive result in 6 weeks. it called combo test.

You can do the test anytime, but one of them must be at least 3 months after ... And when testing, dont just test for HIV, test for the rest too ...

I think most tests are the same .... but because of the gestation period, it must be taken 3 months after potential infection day ,.... the first one is actually to test for previous infection and also they hope to test for other STIs....

Result in 6 weeks is too long , you will have to suffer during that period waiting for it

If u google freedomhealth UK site, they will tell u 99.8% accurate at 4 weeks using Duo Test (P24 antigen + antibody).

Duo test is equal to combo test by abbott.

for normal antibody test, like rapid test done by AFA, or oral in anteh, 3 months are still the rule.

It is still not 100%. As long as the antibodies is nopt developed yet, you test before 3 months also no use. It might come out at the 90th day .. of course this is just an estimate ... most should appear several weeks from infection, but to cover yourself .... do it at later date better
