it has been a long long while since i post and wanted to share a story which has happened to me a few years back.

i have no idea how this has all started but if you have done a good deed, there will always be in return and depending on when and how.

It was raining heavily that evening and i am just back from work. On my way home walking from the MRT, i passed by a clinic and heard some commotion. It was 9pm and the clinic is closed but even if they have patients, they are not accepting any more. This mother is carrying her son and pleading for the staff to allow them to see the doctor which they refused. I know this clinic well and the staff are not friendly so i will be surprised if they allow her to see the doctor. She is very worried and crying for assistance but everyone just stood and stared. out of kindness, i walked up to her and mentioned to her that there is a clinic which open until midnight but it is about 15 mins walk from here. She asked me for direction and it was then i realised that she is not a local. Knowing she will be lost, i offered to wait for a cab with her and will direct the cab driver to the right direction but after 15 mins of waiting, with me waiting along the street and mother carrying the son under a shelter, i gave up. I suggested walking there might be a better option so i helped to piggyback her son (who is like in primary school) with her holding the umbrella to shelter her son along the way. It was like one of the toughest walk (after my NS) and the rain did not help. When we arrived at the clinic, i was half soaked and totally exhausted. Everyone in the room was staring at me thinking what the hell was this guy doing? I wanted to leave since i have done my part but i wanted to know if the kid will be fine. After another half an hour of waiting, they finally managed to see the doctor and during this period, we have never spoken a single word. i can see from her expression that she is worried sick for her child. I left when i heard that her son was given an injection due to high fever and infection but he will be fine after a few days of rest. I went home shower and sleep without eating dinner.

A few days later, i spotted the family with the mother holding the son's hand waiting along the street. The mother spotted me and called out to me. She just wanted to thank me for what i have done for her son and she has been trying her luck that i will passed this way. Normally, i will try not to stay back late for work unless there is something urgent and that day is her lucky day. She offered to buy me dinner but i rejected and some small talks and we went on separate ways.

once in a while, i will go to those massage parlor to relax. Killing 2 birds with one stone if you know what i mean. I was at the shop and the lady boss know me quite well since i have been there for a couple of times. She immediately recommended me a new staff and ask me to try her skill. She mentioned she was very new in the field but very skillful in terms of massages so asking me if i am interested. I always go for the usual gal but she is not good at massage but very good at making you hard. So here i am thinking and decided to go for the new lady. Once in the room, i did the normal stint....disrobe and lie facing down on the bed. Someone came in and ask me if i want it hard or gentle. I mentioned gentle first and we will see. (don't know how hard is hard else later break my bones). She is really good at her massages and i almost fall asleep. i asked for harder massages on the body to help relax and the pressure is just right. I have no idea how long was the massage util she asked me to turn around. Normally, that will be the time when they will asked if you want special. I got my shock when i turn around, it is the mother which i have helped the last time and when she saw me, i can see that she is shocked as well. We were stunned for a moment and i opt for the easy way out of this mess. I just mentioned that the session is over and thank you for the service and proceed to put on my clothes. She never said anything and left the room leaving just myself. The lady boss gave me a thumb up when i paid at the counter and i could only smile half heartedly. I kept thinking about the whole thing and was thinking what was wrong since she worked there, she should know what to expect right. What i missed was her massage which was so good and relaxing for the body so i decided to go back tomorrow again

The next day, instead of going to work. i took a day off and went for the session. The lady boss was surprised that i was there so early but she know exactly what i was looking for. Without any conversion, she directly me to one of those room and mentioned Ah Mei will be in shortly. Ok now i know her name and i should try to find out more. Ah Mei came in and saw me. I have some small talk with her just to find out more while she is doing the massage. She mentioned she is from China, Fujian and separated from her hubby so she brought her son to Singapore to start life new. She heard a lot of good things about Singapore from her friends before she came but it is not what she has expected when she came. Financially she is having problem as the rent is high and the living standard is high. She also never expect other than school fees, there are a lot more to pay which she is having problem with. She is a young mother and mentioned she is only 34 (that explains why she still looked good and the figure is still there). She has no option but to work in this line cos she can do massages but was shocked to know she must do more than just that. She mentioned that she will not normally offer the services to people cos she do not want to do it but knowing that doing extra will increase her income, so she will only offer HJ. The place is normally quiet in the afternoon and we took more time that what was allowed but being a regular, the lady boss just let it go. Quite a good conversation to know her better, got a good massages but too bad never have the chance to release.

After a few more trips, we are getting more comfortable with each other and that is a mistake for being so close. I offer to pay her monthly $500 which is not much but she can at least don't have to work every day at the parlor and have more time to take care of her son. Thinking about it, it is really a sad thing for the kid to be alone and in a foreign place and not knowing what to do.

2 weeks later after our 'agreement', she invited me to her place for dinner. I have this feeling of a family dinner and her son was happy to see me. I bought him a toy and we have a simple dinner until late at night. She put her son to bed (can't really remember the time) and we are all alone after that. While watching TV programme, she offered to give me massage which i readily agreed. It was those old 2 rooms flats which they rently so there is only one room which they shared. Me laying on the hall on a mattress and she went into the room to get the oil. In my mind, i was hoping for more.
