Cynthia Evelynna Stephen, the second runner-up of Mrs Sarawak Pageant for married women in 2015, allegedly organised 10 orgies in Singapore and even took part in them herself.

Organising orgies

Last year, it was reported that a couple had organised 10 sex parties in Singapore within a few months.

These parties were masterminded by Cynthia, who also took part in pleasuring the male attendees.



A thread on Sammyboy Forum, a sex forum, was created to publicise the event. This was done with the help of Cynthia’s then-lover Gareth Ho.

At that time, Ho was an assistant food & beverage operations manager at a hotel. This hotel was used twice for the orgies. It is unclear if he is still working there now.

Participants who confirmed their attendance would be told about the venue a day before the event. These sessions initially charged an entrance fee of $400, but after two successful parties, the price was hiked up to $450.

At each session, there would be two to five women accompanying five to 19 men. Every party would have a different theme, such as doctors and sailors, and the women would dress accordingly to seduce the men. Some sessions even saw the couple’s mutual friend dressed up as a butler.

The first session was held on Apr 6 last year at a hotel along Newton Road. Other venues include an unknown chalet, a massage parlour along Duxton Road, hotels along Scotts Rd and Fusionopolis Way, and condominiums at Mount Faber Rd and along Shan Rd – the latter just across the street from the Ministry of Home Affairs building.

The 10 parties made a total of about $65,000. The entrance fees were split between the venue rental, women, Ho and Cynthia – who got a significantly higher cut each time round. While each of the ladies received approximately $1,000 for one party, Cynthia would bring home about $2,000.



Initially planned for June 30, the 11th party was called off after it went viral online. Cynthia then planned a comeback on July 12 last year with a smaller-scale group involving only eight men.

However, the details of the orgies were leaked for the second time, leading to the end of the sex parties.

On May 22 this year, the police arrested Cynthia, Ho and the butler for organising illegal activities (managing a place of assignation). Ten to 15 women, who supposedly took part in the orgies, were arrested as well.

Cynthia has been out on bail since May 24. Her mobile phone and passport have been confiscated by the police.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Individual prostitution activities

According to a close source of the 43-year-old single mother from Sarawak, Cynthia has been a Singapore Permanent Resident since 2002. She has a 17-year-old son and a 20-year-old daughter.

Cynthia has been offering illegal prostitution services under a massage parlour at 72 Duxton Rd since 2015. In fact, she became acquainted with Ho and butler at the orgies through this parlour.

A venue for three of the sex parties, this massage parlour was also raided on the day of her arrest.


Cynthia works under an agent offering sexual services using the alias Brynlee.
She has been offering prostitution services under an agent for a market rate of $350 per hour since April last year, and is believed to be still doing so.

Since March, she has allegedly been advertising her own services online. She offers threesome services or lesbian acts with another woman at $450.

It is believed that she can serve eight to 10 customers per day.

At her peak last year, she earned about $20,000 to $30,000 per month.

Swindling men through cancer claims

On Aug 26 last year, Cynthia put up a Facebook post and told everyone that she had cervical cancer since Jan 2016. However, this claim turned out to be a lie to gain sympathy to cheat people of their money.







She later closed down her Facebook account when people started to report her for scam.

Through this incident, she cheated several men of more than tens of thousands of dollars. She allegedly spent the money she received on gold and luxury goods.
