chiong Bangkok on shoestring budget

Hi to all, I notice here got many Bangkok frequent chiongsters maybe can help me and others with same questions.

I am planning to chiong Bangkok with a 1000 singapore dollars budget. I can account for airfare hotel rooms transport food but most important and expensive should be the chioing fees. Any cheap but good places to book women and chiong like massage and brothels? GL standard is good enough for me.

Btw I going for 4-5 days.

You should tell us how much r u setting aside for chionging instead cos we got no idea how much is ur ticket and accomodation.

Let's say u r left with $500-700, you gotta budget well to maximize ur enjoyment...

Also tell us what u want. Agogo bar, MP, escort, disco, pub etc?

$1000sg = approx 24,000THB

24,000THB
less return airticket 5,000
Balance = 19,000THB
less hotel (cheapest would be Wattana at 550thb x 4 nights) 2,200THB
Balance = 16,800 THB
less taxi & mrt (average 500THB a day x 5 days) 2,500THB
Balance = 14,300 THB
less food & misc expenses eg condom (average 500THB a day x 5 days) 2,500THB
Balance = 11,800THB for cheong

That gives you approx 2,300THB to cheong a day & 300THB spare change which is very little. For 2,300THB you can only opt for ST at massage places like Poseidon, Nataree or agogo bars like Nana & Soi Cowboy.

Another option would be don't cheong everyday, maybe out of 4 mights just cheong 2 nights and the rest go have a drink with friends or check out the girls. Or cut your trip short to 3 days and 2 nights. That way you have slightly more than 5000THB a day to cheong which is just nice.

Well try and save on the transportation, if planned well you can take the train and walk to most of the MP, A go go...etc...or if more than one of you share taxi fare and keep the budget to around 200 baht a day (do able) and food also...hit the supermarket (one of those super store - carefour / jesco lotus, you can get pretty good food for the entire day, great variety for around 200 baht, that will give you an extra 600 baht a day for your cheong budget, or drinking, entertainment etc....

won't save much on transport that way, taxi fare is cheap in Bangkok using the meter. Most cheong places cost only 50-60THB via taxi and the faraway ones 100thb at the most from my experience. Also MRT does open after 12am if not mistaken. Use MRT when you can and if it is convenient to do so, especially during rush hours. Some taxi do not want to travel to certain areas during rush hour even if you wan to pay.

Also the food you must take into account for 2 person ie. you and your girl, unless you are the type that locks her in the room and tie her to the bedpost without any food or drinks.

The best bet is to have an average of RM800 (SGD 350) for everyday you are there... the very least... about RM 500 (SGD 220)... so if u are there for 5 days... you should have 1100 SGD... but things could get a little but tight on your last day... and u have nothing in case of emergencies... take care

Yo, cab fare bt50-60 for nearby radius. But faaaar away 1s, depending on destination, can easily breach bt100 mark. Example, from Sukhv to On Nut or even Bangna expect to pay more.

Use BTS (skytrain) and MRT combo to save time due to road grid in peak hours. Especially Ratchada stretch. Economics in off peak and to some nearby places may not be there vs taxi, if you divide cab fare between more than 1 passenger (assume you have tag company).

As for makan, puyings seem to "graze" on food often beyond mealtimes. Occcasional 7-11 buys can add on to your bill too.. And not forget your duty free, just get mixers + ice and enjoy drinks served by your puying company in comfort of your hotel rooms. Takeways cheap too to ago along.

All's not lost, there's always the hole in wall (aka ATMs) to bankrupt you.. and exch rate sucks on top of surcharge.

Thanks for all the info. Like I said i am on a real tight budget as I am poor man, for friend's intro and my own research here is my budget please add comments.

Airticket- Got for $120 + return tax of 700 Baht= $150
Hotel- 3 available for price range baht 650 to 750= $21-$23 per day, I take it as $25per day x 4 days = $100
Transport- I only take buses and BTS so $10 per day more than enough and also to and fro from airport so toalt =$50
Food- Got free breakfast from hotel, I take a hearty meal and skip lunch. For dinner I take fast food or road side stall, again $10 per day=$50
Total is $350 cover all my expenses left $650 for sex and chionging for 4 nights. I not doing shopping so I have roughly 15,000 Bahts for that. Sorry if I seem like a backpacker, I have been saving up for this holiday by doing parttime job and I come from not so well to do family. So I need to make my dollar last. Thank you if you can help me.

No need to apologise, spend within your (hard earned) means.

Think you can make it (according to your budget). Party in your room with duty free, save on nightspots or bars outside. BTS, MRT -most do that for practical conveience anyhow.

Brunch is expected after late nights.. Cheap takeways + drinks in-house, and if got stereo (some TV got music channel) you can also sanuk.. Being there and done it.

Many farangs (angmoh) in khao san even do cheaper than you. Relax and enjoy!

Cheapskate there is a hostle on sukumvit that is really cheep and clean. It is in between nana and Asok station or somewhere really close in that area. They have individual rooms for under S$25 if I remember correctly and the dorm is like S$10 to $12. As I am writing this I just found this site http://www.hostelworld.com/index.php. Maybe you can cut down your costs this way. Besides if you pick up a girl and need to take her someplace you wont have any problem finding a hotel that rents by the hour. Just a thought.

not advisable to use credit card to cheong also, it can be addictive and you end up paying lots of debts if you can't control. Better stick to your budget and enjoy what you have.
