PAP MPs and Ministers go door-to-door personally handing out SG50 goodies to residents ahead of Elections

admin / 3 hours ago July 21, 2015
According to Singapore Government-controlled media The Straits Times, PAP Ministers and MPs are working hard going door-to-door personally handing out SG50 goodies to residents in their respective constituencies. The handing out of the SG50 Funpacks, which is a tote bag of snacks, erasers, paper balls and commemorative figurines reminding Singaporeans about the good old times before 1990s, made headline news today in the national newspaper, The Straits Times.
The SG50 celebration falls on the National Day and the next General Election (GE) date speculated by The Straits Times is about a month after at September 12. The ruling PAP government is widely predicted by many to lose more seats to the Opposition as bread and butter problems like cost of living, public transport breakdown and overcrowding population continue to worsen after the last GE in 2011.
