Changes to cpf getting more frequent & scarier!
An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
CHANGES TO CPF GETTING MORE FREQUENT & SCARIER! Post date: 1 May 2015 - 5:45pm  Remember, we did not have minimum sum, then came minimum sum which applied only to Ordinary Account. Then minimum sum again was applied to Medisave. Subsequently, withdrawal age and conditions were changed. Over last 5 years, there were many frequent changes to CPF, of which, CPF members are becoming the biggest losers. Reading the lastest changes in CPF Medishield Life, you find that the CPF, aka the government, is getting really extreme and greedy. http://www.tremeritus.com/2015/04/28/scary-facts-you-should-know-about-medishield-life/ From the article, it tells you either can’t leave Singapore, or you pay 17% high interest (worst than loan shark) or you have your family pay for you from their accounts. It looks like CPF is also run like a business, perhaps I should call it a loan shark, always looking for ways to entrap our money and also for us to cough out more even if we have to get it from someone else. Why has CPF become this greedy??? How are these going to impact you and your kids and if you dont have a regular job? Remember, the current CPF has too much power, they make regular changes as and when and too frequent and also without any form of public consultations and also no need to have parliamentary debates. We have to make a stop to this unfair practice and stop these blood suckers from doing this so regularly and without consultation. I suggest they can only review and propose changes at every General Election and before polls to be fair. I do not want the current system where CPF changes are so regular. All Singapore friends, remember with every change, you lose more and more and they are also putting mandatory conditions and harsh penalties. This coming election, you need to decide how you want to deal with your future CPF. By voting in the white party, you know there will be more and more regular changes where we will still be the losers, perhaps you will lose more from your bank accounts and you will never be able to really use your retirement fund!!! Send your opposing votes and stop CPF from making regular and unfair changes or proposals to screw us further!!!! CPF Changes Are Getting Really SCARY!!!
