CELEBRATE ST PATRICK'S DAY IN SG NEXT MONTH WITH ALCOHOL, MUSIC AND STREET DANCING

Post date:

With the recent debate about the celebration of Thaipusam and other religious and culturally significant celebrations, it is interesting to note that St Patricks Day festivities are going ahead next month.
According to the event organisers, Singaporeans and visitors alike are invited to celebrate "All Things Irish" over the weekend of 13th to 15th March during the official St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival 2015.
The event is organised by the Singapore River One (SRO) and taking place at Boat Quay and the adjacent Circular Road.
The streets are being closed off temporarily with a street parade happening at 3:30pm on 15th March.
Visitors are invited to wear all Green to join in with street dancing, drinking Irish beer, lots of loud music and live bank performances.
What do you think?
