A technical glitch with M1 systems saw its 1627 hotline being redirected to the Police emergency hotline of 999 today.
The problem occurred shortly after 1pm and was fixed by about 2:20pm.
Callers who tried to call the M1 hotline found that they received the Police Emergency hotline.
M1 explained on Facebook that some of their calls were “inadvertendly redirected” they asked subscribers to reset their handsets to rectify any remaining issues. They wrote that they apologise for any inconvenience.
