For those of you taking Vitamin D (for cancer prevention, etc), if you find that taking Vitamin D makes you kena constipation, the solution is simple : take Magnesium supplementation (together with the Vitamin D supplementation).
Reason being : Vitamin D supplementation raises blood Calcium levels, which in turn decreases blood Magnesium levels, which in turn causes constipation.
Moral of the story : Medical Biochemistry is wonderfully complex, and physical incarnation is wonderfully fucked up (in hokkien : zho lang jing cham; in mandarin : zhuo ren zhen can).
