Thumbs up Malaysia - Woman’s body found stuffed in a bag

Woman’s body found stuffed in a bag

GEMAS: A body of a woman was found stuffed in a travelling bag in a drain at Taman Gemas Jaya here at 5pm yesterday.

Tampin police chief Superintendent Wooi Kooi Cheang said a worker at a nearby furniture shop spotted the bag and alerted the police.

He said a team from the district and forensic experts from the state police headquarters in Seremban were deployed to the crime scene.

Wooi said upon opening the padlocked bag, police found a fully clothed body of a woman believed to be in her 20s.

He said the woman was about five feet tall and wore a Mickey Mouse t-shirt with blue-coloured pants.

"The victim's forehead had a 6cm gash wound believed to have been caused by a strike from a blunt object.

"Both her hands have bruises while two fingers on the left hand were severely smashed," he said at the scene yesterday.

He said there were also several other clothes found inside the bag.

"We are investigating the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code of murder, and if anybody have any information or a witness then please come forward to give a report," he said.
