Woman hit by bike wheel 'flung from 14th floor' dies PUBLISHED ON JUN 8, 2014 7:57 AM 2800PRINTEMAIL  Madam Mahani (above) died in hospital last Friday after slipping into a coma last Tuesday. The 67-year-old was hit on the head by a bicycle wheel, allegedly thrown by a teenager from a block of flats in Eunos Crescent on May 16. -- PHOTOS: JASMAN ABDUL AZIZ, SHIN MIN DAILY BY HOE PEI SHAN A 67-year-old woman, who was hit by a bicycle wheel allegedly thrown by a teenage boy from the 14th floor of an HDB block of flats in Eunos Crescent, died in hospital last Friday night. Madam Mahani Abdullah had undergone emergency spinal surgery at the Singapore General Hospital after the wheel hit her on the head on May 16. Last Tuesday, while she was in a high dependency ward following the operation, her heart stopped. Doctors managed to resuscitate her, but she slipped into a coma.
