My friend ask me this... What does she need to do if she want to try out FL...She ask me, if going for a pimp/okt better?
Because i heard that some okt are nice people. but not sure if she should look for one or not.
Maybe you all to advice on it.

If you gal is newbie in the FL scene, guess okts will help in terms of getting clients and taking care of the gal. But of course there will be a cut from the earnings.

Being without also have it's perks, more freedom to determine pricing and work schedule.

Anyway, please advise your gal to consider very carefully.FL ing is no joke and should not be the route to take unless all other options are exhausted.

May we know the reason why does your friend wants to be a FL? Being a FL should not be taken lightly, you can get all sorts of nasties if you're not careful. If it's financial problems, I strongly urge you to find all alternative solutions before even considering this route. But if she wants to be a FL just to get her LV, GUCCI or PRADA, TS i would advise your friend to wake the fuck up. Just my humble 2cents worth of opinion, don't hate me for my opinions.

Yo TS, simple lah u be the okt lor. U can monitor/screen her customer, as least she trust u.

getting an okt
1) will benefit in terms of client management. schedules will always be laid nicely for her. she will also avoid risk of nuisance clients calling her directly. most regular clients will trust okt recommendations even if the fl is new in the industry. not forgetting tt okt will ctc regular client of the new arrival of fls even before the posting on the forum.
2) most okts will try out fl before bringing them under their wings. okt will help her in performance skill by advising pointers of improvement needed if necessary.
3) of course the down side of it is tt u will earn lesser compared to independent fls due to cuts given to okts for their efforts.

going independent
1) most independent fl will either post here, $$$$$boy or other site like sgadonline. they have to self manage the posts, schedules, screenings of clients, etc...
2) a vice-versus situation in earnings compared to having okt.
3) independent fls really have to be self-disciplined to manage on ur own. it is like running ur own business. happy, u work, if not, hack it. same goes to taking up clients, u like the look, u serve better, if not, client have OBs, ugly looking or whatsoever, hack it. okts will not allow such actions in their stables.

these r some pros & cons I can think of.
i'm sure i missed out some pointers but also sure many bros here can add on...
