Hotels in JB. How safe?

Hi guys, malaysia are always on the ball catching ppl having flings or having actions in hotels. As malaysia laws are strict on couple who are not married, i assume most of us do have a urge to find hotels to spend the night with the one u wanna bonk. Question is how safe are malaysia's budget hotels and also which are the hotels that are less kena raided? I believe most of us do not wan this kind of embaressment happen on u. Heard from my friends saying if u are not married and also if happens that 1 couple are alone, u may be kena fine/jailed or may be forced to get married? How true is it?

so far i used a couple of time those hourly budget hotels no raid issue ? may be i didn stay overnight? when i registered they only record my name not the partners, some not even registered just pay n go.....

Cos when night when u see it's like kinda dangerous. Although i checked in was by a chinese, fear is still there.... Ha.

to be safer may b check in those 4 or 5 stars hotel ? of course cost wil be higher easily one night Rm150~200+

Bro andrewac, the laws in malaysia only forbids muslims couples who are not married cannot stay in same room only. It does not govern non muslim couples who are not married. But non muslim also cannot stay same room with muslim if u are not married. But if MIB got tip off the chic's room u enter is a prosti than u n the prosti chic need to go back with MIB for qustioning lor, to established yr relationship with the chic. If u say the chic is prosti u get to go off with a warning but the chic gets detain by MIB.

WOW! That's really strict. Rather safe then sorry. High end hotels dun have transit rooms do they?

The point is non-muslims could not be charged under syariah law & that means if you are caught with a muslim girl then the girl will be detained by the religious people where as you'll be cautioned & they will just note down your name only. Another thing is your muslim gf will have to pay fine ... if I'm not mistaken is RM3000 and the 2nd time will be higher/stiffer. I kena before many many years ago in KL. That was my 1st time with a NL so a bit scared then after the experience a bit daring already..... but the girl hv to face the embarrassment.

Usually they wont raid for 4-5 star hotel. only the budjet hotel will be their target.

must be careful out there which bros are having a fling with a muslim including me..... Seeing the embarassment that we have to face if kena..... aiyo.
