I travel to india often. my suggestion is be a veggie when u go there. It is not like in SEA where u can go and pick. The good one can really cost a bomb, to me it is not worth it. Mumbai n delhi is difficult.

I heard before in the south near chennai(their IT hub, cant remember the state name) there will be more lobang there but never get a chance to try as I am always in mumbai n delhi.

i am frm mumbai bro, so right now there will be Ramzan fest.(RAMADAN) and on 10th sept. it will be ramzan id (Hari Raya), on 2nd sept. one more fest, nice to watch, when a group of ppls will create a human pyramid to break a claypot filled with buttermilk and tag with huge prizes at 3-5 storey height, and residential ppls will pour water on the group of ppls who are performing pyramid there will be many of claypot hanging at high height, u could watch this time,

soon on 10th sept, there will be biggest festival for mumbai, which is lord GANESH festivals u can see IDOL of lord Ganesha ranging from tiny size to 35-40 feet sizes and many ppls will celebrating this festival upto late night, so u can feel that this city never sleep. this festival will be until 22nd sept.
on 22nd sept, if possible to u can go at some of the imp beaches where ppls will imerge this idol of lord in sea water this day the sea beaches will be busy for more than 20hrs, ppls will start to do this early in morning and it will continue overnight,so one more things to enjoy, and a good time to get blessed by a lord, there are few places where u will see crowd overnight

from OCT 8 there will be one more fest. belongs to powerfull female godess

it's a big transaction day, and u can see lot's of flowers and cleanness everywhere, and can feel very energatic, like u have got some spirit to enjoy the life.

on NOV 5 it will be deepavali days everywhere, mostly ppls wake up from sleep due to sounds of firecrackers. everywhere lightening and food fest.

finally, the time u r going to visit is a really nice time to enjoy in the colors of city, the city will be in it's full spirit

some don't's - Avoid local train rush in rush hours morning and evening
don't get cought in words fight with anybody.
don't show off ur money,anywhere
take care of ur wallet, it can be theft easily.
don't argued with govt. bodies like- police, traffic police,officer etc

some do's - visit worli seaface and sea bandra-worli sealink which was asia's biggest project
visit CSTM(chattrapati shivaji railway terminus) station
visit churchgate station
visit elephanta caves, gateway of india,marine drive,
hang out pubs and discotheques in western suburbs namely
bandra,juhu, khar, colaba, where u can find good company of females, they are just like us coming to enjoy in pub, and some of them are doing night stand, so u can pick a girl over there if u r lucky enough and could be free also.

BUT choose a good and standard hotel to taste those.

hey there, thanks for the lonely planet travel report. it would be a working trip over 3 days so no time to go sightseeing and all. was just hoping for some tips and advice on action in mumbai. maybe contact of people and places where girls are available.

hotel GRAND HYATT.. could be easier, no need to search girl, inside in cafe so many girl would be wandering. otherwise in the hotel u r staying the waiters or the stewards have special contacts of those girls. so can ask them to help, they will arrange the girl, but some needs tip for that work, or some could just do it free..
