There is an important concept here. And its not about doing one's best. Many decades ago, I was offered Engineering in NUS. That is when I started thinking. How am I to know pretty girls given that most girls do not go Engineering, let alone pretty ones?

In the end, I choice a course that had pretty girls and landed myself a trophy wife. It's all about the choices one makes.

TS, you need to change your views. Eg you are not going to make many girl friends in the gym, as you wrote about. But you will make many girl friends if you join a Zumba class instead. My wife is in one. 95% are women and the few men in it have insane opportunities. The guys dont even need to be good looking to be surrounded by all sorts of women wearing tight skimpy clothes. Read as sports bra, mid drifts and lots of zao kng when dancing. And when your zumba class goes to Batam overnight for dance outings....figure out the possibilities yourself.

So TS, you got to be street smart. Not book smart.

The stupider you look the more they will like you because it implies some sort of boldness (ie masculinity) on your part.

Worrying about what they think is very unmasculine. Do it, or don’t do it.

If you don’t like the activities though it is pretty silly to do it because all you will send out is the ‘I’m just looking for girls but pretending I’m not’ vibe.

Dating apps so many where you can comfortably face rejection without the sting of being personally rejected, and you want to think about the hard ways just to get a lay.

Don’t anyhow cast your nets. What type of girls are u looking for? Are u going for 姐弟恋？(older sis-young bro relationship). Likelihood of girls doing gym and subscribing to Zumba are working ladies which should be older than u. Are u going for hook up or serious relationship?

For now relationship bah. Not going for 姐弟恋. I know most of the zumba members are mainly working adults, maybe there might be a small handful of teens that i can click with. Maybe can try a trial for experience to see if its really my type of thing or nt.. no point forcing myself to do activities i don't really like haha

Dude, my point was not abt joining zumba. Its abt knowing where the pretty birds gather. I dunno what young girls do these days. Sure as hell its not gym. Maybe K pop or K drama? Make an effort. Find out. Enrol.
