Where can I divorce? Wife is not in Singapore anymore.

Once we loved each other very much, after married, everything changed.
We can't get along, now she had left Singapore, and her long term pass had expired today, I don't think she will come back any more.

What should I do?
Should I look for a lawyer or I any place I can get help with divorce.

brother, i had a friend who have a same situation like you before, but her singaporean husband no longer in singapore.

Your wife is a vietnamese or thai or china?

A few question you need to ask yourself,

1) is your wife still contactable, if yes, ask her to sign the paper lo, do an ammunition of marraige, the ground can be base on "no sex, no love, blah blah, since she is oversea for so long" less than 2.5k can settle ba.

2) if she don wan to sign, then you xiao xiao wait 3 years lo, get a lawyer to apply 1 sided divorce for you.

3) if your wife is un-contactable, you still have to find a lawyer, the lawyer will advise u to deng pao zi. Advertise on newspaper to look for her, you have to proof to the singapore court that you had tried to look for her and you cant find her, then u can divorce her on 1 sided fact. ( on top of that, you 2 got no child, assets or property to fight for), this will be more costly, around SGD 4000, not including the advertising fee.

4) if your wife is un-contactable and you 2 got assets together, that your house/car cannot be sold until you can proof her is completely missing for 10 years, it is something like waiting for a death cert liao lo. (this one super cheap, but 10 years le... don know cock still so active a not)

I alway remind myself marriage is not a game, i cant imaging if i am at the same situation as you.
