Re: Hekou (Border town between Vietnam and China)
Something I copied from "Fun in Vietnam" of the Delphi Forum a long time ago.
"There are actually 2 or 3 different places. But don't imagine this is holliday places like Pattaya or K11. You neeed to have your Chinese visa prior to arrival, then travel by train or coach in the Chinese countryside, where nobody speaks english. No bars, no western food, no modern disco... This is deep China. You can't go just for 3 days, but rather for one week. This is a destination for real sex-plorers who like adventure and some difficulty. Having said that, dangers and risk are nil, and fun is garanty. 1) The most important place is also the less accessible : Hekou (Yunnan province), across Lao Cai (near Sapa). Reachable by train from Hanoi (half day) or Kunming (overnight) by train. Douzens of girls young Viet girls in the town market, working in K11 style "barber shops". A creasy sleasy atmosphere in the whole town, which economy lives from the sex business in my opinion." The information may be outdated. |

Re: Hekou (Border town between Vietnam and China)
Hi,
3 years ago I was there. When you in Hanoi, catch a train (about 12 Hours) to Loi Cai, From the train station, take a motocycle to border(about 3KM) cross border enter China Hekou. Town was walking distance near custom. There are plenty of Vietnam gals (very young and cheap) ST 50RMB, LT 200 to 300rmb depen on quality. Hotel cheap too, price between 100 to 200 RMB. No need visa for Singaporean in China for 15 days. All price quoted 3 years ago. update me if anychanges. Petercyberson |

Re: Hekou (Border town between Vietnam and China)
Hi all,
I have just returned from HEKOU. Hence, my information will be accurate as of Apr 2010. There is a market place whereby the second and third floor are all whore houses at night (Rate is 40RMB per shot). Rooms are dirty, like those found in pertain road. Other than the market place, there are a lot of woman pimps on the road after 9pm (Rates are 60RMB for short time, 200RMB for overnight). You can bring the chicks back to your hotel. All the chicks are Vietnamese who can speak some Chinese and are very young (less than 25 I guess). Anyway, they are simply beautiful and nice figured! Rule of thumb: Ask for short time to try the service first. If satisfied, then proceed to ask for overnight. If interested in more information, please pm me. I wont be following this thread anymore. Thank you. Cheers! |
