How's this compared to Pub99 (corner across 7-11)? Only bar I've been to in that part of town. Cheapo drinks, makan and LDs. LT bt2k. Maybe outdated by 2 years liao. But duck chicken talk if no phood thai

On shoe-string budget at Bangkok .................. ?

I used to go on '"Belt-tightening " rather than shoe-string budget trip to BangkoK.

Normally I will get an unlimited BTS Skytrain ticket for 3 days which cost only 270 bahts and buy a 100 bahts food card at Hypermart near Thai Cultural centre sub-way (close to Emerald Hotel, along there have about 5 MPs, Nateree, Cleopatra, Poisedon, Na.. etc...can't remember liao..)

That 100 baht food card I can take 4 meals at the food court there, the food there is really cheap. Normally i spend less than 30 baht for my lunch or dinner there. But as a cheongsters, better dun follow my "non-nutrition" style, if lack of energy to cheong and dun fire I am not responsible for that.

For a 4 night stay, visited one MP and go for a traditional massage, with food inclusive and air ticket etc, I spend less than $600 per trip. Just my sharing -indeed a more stingy than a shoe string trip............................hehehe.
