Haha you WeChat FL agent is it?
Knowing you should be specialise in Ah Quas.

On a serious note technology has made a lot of brick and mortar shops out of business.
A good example is Taobao.

Re: Hatyai,Thailand For Sawadee Newbies

Hi,

A short and limited information field report following a 3D/2N trip to H land. It has been more than 7 years since I last visited H land, with my maiden trip in 2003/4. As expected, many things remained the same while there are obvious differences / changes comparing to the past.

Hotel - New Season Hotel (1300 for normal room, 2200 for suite)
* During years that I visit H land on an annual basis, New Season Hotel (NSH) was the place to be. Near to the central area, convenient, new, and there was not many family travelers then as compared to now (though it could also be Dec holiday). Since it was a short trip, decided to take the suite. I am pretty pleased with the suite. Nothing fanciful just that it is huge. There is a living room and the TV can be rotated to watch from living room or bedroom. I guess one downside is that all suites are corner room so for superstitious brothers, please take note. I was drunk both nights so did not feel a thing.

Massage
* Took the oil voucher from tour agency at 640 Baht for 2 hours of oil massage (walk in at 700 bahts). A very experienced lady came, which I enjoyed a true and genuine good massage. She brought along the requisite towels so the ones in the room are kept for our own use. Being advanced in age, I realized that while I felt 2hrs massage were not enough in the past, having an hour long massage seems to be more suitable for me now. Things that change with age ..... She offered me ping pong and like, for which I have never been interested ....
* Went to try Turkish bath at Pink Lady at 2400. SOP, kinda of enjoy it though the girl was rushing. Nothing much has changed with the place, same design, no renovation and apparently there are still customer staying here. As I was there on a Monday, only 2 girls. Quality not fantastic ... The place is left with only massage (Turkish and traditional), lounge and like are closed. Hotel is apparently still opened if you want to stay ....

SKY - did not visit

Channivet - visited on Tuk Tuk. Booked a girl at 3000 per night for 2 nights. Never bonk her, she is quite affectionate at night spots, but I am only looking for companion to Kiss Channel. Not into bonking so ..... Standard at Channivet is really bad, reminded me of the one trip I visited Batam more than 10 years ago. There are still some gems (or passable), or these are few and far between. To each their own. Asked the fish I booked on Bar Barry, she said no one goes there now. Cannot verify, but given that it is further away, gave it a pass.

Re: Hatyai,Thailand For Sawadee Newbies

SC Hotel - went to room 611, knocked on the door and the guy answered. Fee is at 5500 baht, girls are via PC viewing. Left 3 girls only, tempted to book but wanted to check out the farms do did not. Person is called Money Looi (you can wechat him), and is very polite. No foul attitude or behavior even though I did not book any girl. Made a mental note that if I do visit H Land again, I will book from him. Btw, you could ask Tuk Tuk to send you here and wait for you down stairs. The driver I had did not follow me and the quoted price is per what forum has stated.

Nightspots
* Kiss Channel remains the place to go to even after all these years. In fact, spent both nights there, consuming 2 and 3 towers respectively. My friend joked that the girl I brought must be good drinker but I think the beer might have been watered down else I would never be able to drink these much. Enjoyed the performance. No need to hang flower, just give Baht as tips if you think okay.
* Kiss Lounge - visited this place on my first night. There is a live band with a female singer (not pretty in my view). Stayed for one Heineken (big), about 300 plus baht with 10% service charge. Was my first visit, did not realize that you should pick a girl at the entrance before you go into the lounge and seat down. If got next time, will try. The girls are dressed pretty well.
* Pink Lady Lounge - already closed .......

Summing Up
* H Land is definitely becoming more family friendly, with dwindling number of cheongsters sighted. I met a group of Malaysians whom booked their girl from Danok and traveled to H Land. I guess they must have known the girls else there could be a "chemistry" risk. Doing so has the benefit of no runner, I guess. To all brothers, signing off from yours truly, Silverdoggy38, a.k.a. SD38.

Re: Hatyai,Thailand For Sawadee Newbies

My last visit to Hatyai was about 8 yrs ago. Last weekend, decided to go over for a few days.

Buildings, streets have not changed much. Influx of Malaysian and Singaporean tourists, everywhere I can hear SG or MY speaking. Now most vendors can speak Chinese, Teochew, Malay, English compares 8 yrs ago. They even spoke Malay to me and I dun understand anything at all. My friends who seldom been to Thailand joking asked me, is this Thailand? They can't feel the Thai tradition at all. No traditional politeness of Thai, no wai, no "ka" and "krup"..... it is more like Hatyai a state of Malaysia.

Street foods are almost double of those in Bangkok. I ate also heart pain. How could a plate of "kow kar moo" costed me 60thb and a plate of chicken rice costed me 50thb? While in Bangkok, near my condo, a plate "kow kar moo" including half egg is about 40thb and chicken rice is only about 30thb.

Entertainment wise, nothing to FR cause most have been mentioned in this thread. Gers quality not my type.

Malaysian go Hatyai, main reason might be short driving distance or bus trip. I am trying to figure out, why SG go Hatyai often instead of Bangkok?

Hatyai r for those families group tours... foods r ex around Lee garden plaza area... many Malaysian go there for shopping n foods.. buy medicated oil or plaster. At least the Malaysian still think is so much cheaper den in Malaysia...
I always say Hatyai is a boring place now if u only want to drink n bonking.. MPs price I think is still cheaper den in Bkk... temple visiting is still one of the best activies if u go Hatyai... next time I bring u along la 5555.. at least I dun eat ard lee garden plaza area or shop there.. u can always go to Per thai( a big pasar malam) 15mins ride from Hatyai town.. cheap foods n things to buy..

Mai la... it is another "Malaysia state" only unless my trip are paid for. I want entertainment, temples, shopping or whatever, I have more in BKK.

Frankly, if I want good cheap food, seafood, temples, shopping, seaside, mountain trekking, there are plenty in nearby provinces. I want entertainment, Pattaya is less than 2 hours. Finally, I rather spend my air ticket to Chiang Mai than Hatyai.

I am trying to figure out why SG go Hatyai often.

1 reason at least for me is the massage... wrap up with pingpong (not the usual handjob in jb). An outcall for a 25-30 yr old masseur complete with pingpong costs 700bth 80-90mins, excluding tips. At least the few that i tried, really did a good job spending more time on my balls rather than shafting. OR might be my lack of experience in bkk.

This is good if i can only afford a 2d/1n holiday, relaxing and spending much time in massage, and a LT costs 2500-3000 bht is a little cheaper too.

Saying this... my last trip to HY was a year ago and my next to Bkk is next month
