Actually i do know about the minds of the filipina bar girl but I am open to more diverse viewpoints from the wonderful guys who contribute here.

5 years of trips to AC on a monthly basis on a 6 days average, I think i have done a year of duty in AC already. Hahaha.
Anyway the heat is on at the moment in AC and bars are about to undergo some changes in shows and dressing. Even talk of max 1 door girl a bar. Pony Tails was raided 2 nites ago and just tonite i got txt that local inspectors are sitting in the bars to monitor the bar. My friend who did not have full requirements was asked to stop duty.
I was lucky to be at the Miss Magic grand opening and was treated to a good show and sumptious food.

I took him there for a pint, and he got shacked up (cohabited) with this dancer for >1 year plus in his company sponsored apartment. Suits her fine, for extended stay and not only bragging rights but also personal plans to get a regular job like in F&B line. You could say I merely opened the door, and he didn't get out

If this dancer is from the same bar - .. well, she couldn't move in to his place as when they are under pass, they must stay in the company provided apartment - and sometimes landed house - so she must have move in after the contract finish ..

Anyway, if you are getting somewhere, and if you are still circling on the same bar - then I could hazard a guess if your friend is an AUSSIE And she is one of the few that get out, but poor sucker doesn't know that she is fooling around his back, and with her intelligence level, is calling favors from other guys under the strict FIlipino policy of not exploiting the sponsor - never mind the sponsor is screwed anyway .. And I can only imagine how she repays back the favors. My casual question to her (if it is the same girl we are talking of .. ) as to why not ask from the sponsor - she said she has already got enough from him, so time to screw other guys, indirectly loading herself with favors returned in kind, not only for her, but her friends who are in need as well...

Ponytails bar raided by CIDG without warrant

Ponytails bar situated on the entertainent strip just further up from Fields avenue was raided by the CIDG police Sunday night.

The bar was apparently having a special event which included artistic body painting and other shows when the CIDG officers along with cameramen entered the establishment and arrested an unknown number of its dancers and staff.

It is reported that there was no warrant for the raid by the CIDG officers, who however, were priorly understood to have been probing the entertainment strip.

This (unwarranted) raid of a bar on the entertainment strip would be the first under the new Ed Pamintuan administration, who has already been notified. Bodypainting shows are not considered nudity, and if prior reports of the unwarranted raid are correct, then it is most likely that the new Mayor will prove his promise of protecting foreign business investors in the entertainment strip by making the neccessary actions against the officers responsible for ordering the raid.

The following days will prove whether or not this type of activity will be tolerated under the Pamintuan administration.

btw, has anyone gone down to the southern part of the philippines ie cebu, leyte area during august or september? It is typically hurricane season august and september in the PI. However one usually hear of only luzon getting hit very badly by the huriccanes.

may have to plan for a biz trip to cebu and was wondering whether should plan it early or wait it out (if time permits). Then I was thinking of visiting a girl in her province. Big mistake?

Nah, this buzzard lost flight (and steam) awhile back. You could almost say it was a flight of fancy that time. Found the prey like vultures (on the ground instead) a bridge too far for my holey pockets and stamina. This was awhile back, and it was a dutchie. In all fairness, it was rare case of mutual r/s with a fairy tale ending for the dancer landing a regular F&B job here.

Luzon is in the news, because it is a Hurricane magnet - sort of any storm that steams over from the Pacific ends up with Luzon as the primary target, or put it this way - the storms that miss Taiwan end up in Luzon. And anyway, since Manila is almost where all the news is - any storm in Luzon / Isabella - is always the big news.

That part gets hit by a lot of rain, but if you hear storms, it is wiser to forfeit your flight ticket and stay home. I learnt the hard way - was stuck in a remote island for 2 days, as the flights (small 20 seater planes) all not allowed to fly and alternate - ferry service to larger island also suspended.

But you get amazing good rates if you are heading for diving. And then again - I was in a dive, and when I came up - suddenly - within half an hour underwater .. the waves were 2 feet high I had problem and the boat man had to grab my dive suit, and literally pull be out like a wet puppy being picked by a mother dog, and dropped me on board the dive boat, and no further diving was allowed, all because - while we were in Aklan, there was a storm up in Luzon and the weather had turned shitty a bloody few hundred kilometer away

Go for it - it will be a real eye opener .. and as long as she is not a bar girl - yeah - sure. If she was a bar girl, just make sure you know the limits - like no party for the whole barangay, no gifts for the whole province, etc.

No worries mate .. anyway, the dancers who decided to take the same path subsequently are in for a rude shock - lately MOM is curtailing those with HRM certificates and getting in as F&B / Restaurant jobs ..

Good that she managed to get out .. in all fairness, if she was from the same bar - I may still know her .. and again, to be fair, not all girls are screwed up .. most of them genuinely want to marry an american, and the rest want a decent job ..
