Pub88 was like ghost town for almost 2 years. Boss removed the pool table and put poles, it became even quieter.

Finally, he has strike the right chords. The music after 9 Pm changes to disco music, fast happening disco music. Totally no karaoke.

The result is amazing. Suddenly Pub88 a lot of girls and becoming full house every night

Other pubs still as per normal although the girls quantity a little lesser in Club V and Bunker I observed.

Before 8pm, most the places there like ghost town lo.. girls also sometimes cmi.. go till also boring there.. but it is good choice if dun wan questioned by OC when back. Coz can go back earlier. club v and bunkers are with much more girls usually.

I have a Vietnamese female friend who wants to visit Singapore for a few days. However, she is now very scared to come because her friend was turned back at the airport by ICA just a few days ago. Her friend is a accountant coming here on a short shopping trip. The reason for her refusal of entry: being ineligible for the issue of pass under current immigration policies. (She sent me photo of her friend's entry refusal note.)

Is this an isolated incident or a wide spread thing due to change of entry criteria for Vietnamese nationals? Anyone known of similar incidents or have info to share? Thanks.

(If this is due to new immigration policies, how come I am still seeing a lot of VBs in pubs and KTVs. Further, these girls come stay here for at least a month while the lady above only comes for a few days. What shall I advise my friend?)

A few ways to handle this situation :

1. Carry a lot of documents e.g. Hotel booking, return air ticket, a letter from the company she's working for and another letter from the company she'll visit during her stay. Show these dos to the officer when they start asking questions.

2. If she is coming only for sight seeing and has no letter from company then she should have phone numbers of friends in Singapore and letter from friends stating they will take full responsibility and guide her while she is in Singapore. Some times the immigration will call this friend and ask the reason why she is coming to Singapore and for how long.

3. A more tedious but slightly safer way is that she takes a plane to KL instead of Singapore. Take a bus to JB. Then you go over to JB and bring her in through the causeway. Since you are with her, you can talk to the officer as to why she is coming in etc. etc.

Every time a plane from Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi lands in Singapore, at least 30 to 40 girls who queue up to chop passport are asked to go to a office. They are made to wait hours before being asked to buy a return ticket back home. So your friend's case is definitely not an isolated incident. It's happening in big numbers & happening everyday.

Our ICA acts big & tough to bully the poor nationals of small countries. When Russian or Ukraine girls come to Singapore, even they are alone, they are not stopped.

JC is seriously in shortage of girls. Waste money hop to 3 or 4 pubs , buy beer starting from S Box to Bunker, then 155 and then 88 but end up everywhere alone, not a single girl !!
