I feel that the exchange rate is always better in singapore than in thailand.
Morever, we can change anywhere, anyday in Sin but only in bank for thailand (closed on weekend)

Worse place to change is airports (general rule of thumb). Changi's worse off (vs Suvarnabhum) though.

On the contrary, bkk's easily available (as tourist hub).. all over, shopping malls, shops, nite markets etc. Not sure of out of town places though
