Usually the eve and 1st day of Puasa, these establishments including Alexis, Malioboro are all closed. But business will start from day 2 or day 3 of Puasa but with shorter operating hours.

It will depends on the kind of activities you would like to do, but a safe bet would be to go to Kota.

This place is really great. A real entertainment centre with a disco, massage, pool, sauna, restaurant al in one. Was in the restaurant when a friendly mamasan approached quoting me different prices.

Now i know why Singaporeans are pissed with the ruling government, it was the same story inside this brothel! The locals girls rates are very low compared to the foreign talents. More than double. USD200 vs USD80

Action: Chose a lady from one of the STAN family, maybe Uzbekistan or Kazakstan. Very fair. No bath tub like my experience @ Poseidon in Bangkok. Services was normal because there was some language barriers. Tipped about USD35.

Then we proceeded to disco on first level as her shift was over. Very expensive experience overall. But i did not expect such a place to exist in the Muslim state.
