Heard there is an AV operation going on now at Balestier road. Quite a number of hotels there being checked according to the info that I received.

I just heard very soon anti-vice will send bros who caught with FLs/HCs outside legal houses to be send for medical check up via home letter as govt want to cut rising hiv cases reported in newsasia recently..

any bros got heard anything ?

Oh, you heard it too? I heard it from one of my buddies yesterday and I thought he is joking and teasing us.

He told us that based on his sources (I think he got friends who work in spf) that those who get caught outside legal houses will be asked to go for medical check up and must update spf within a certain period. If not, they will then send home letter to remind you to check.

According to my friend, this is for single men. Married men will have their spouses be informed to go for medical checkup and must also inform spf within a certain period. home letter will be sent if they did not go for checkup.

we all thought he was joking yesterday. Can anyone who knows the situation confirm if it's rumour or not?

Now, a bit scared if this is true

I heard it from a friend working in MOH, the top management got screwed by the rising cases so they are aiming SPF (AV) for action. I got the press release from from the MOH website.

Guys, just want to ask a simple question.

From what I have read, I want to confirm, is it really true that now if want to check-in for 2hrs room, all H81 and Fragrance now will ask for 2 ICs instead of the usual one?

Can anyone just confirm with me?

I doubt it because HIV testing is still voluntary and unless MOH and the government make it mandatory, then nobody not even SPF can force anyone to take the HIV test.

I think the operation started around 4pm. I heard the police went into a couple of hotels along Balestier road and conducted spot check there.

CONFIRMED and for most H81s, China/Thai/Viet fls are not allowed in liao

Yes, it's voluntary. What my friend told me is that while they would not force you to go, they will "ask" you to go for checkup. If not, they will contact your spouse on the spot to ask her to go for checkup for her safety. For those who go and update them during the given period, if the test is negative, then they will not call your spouse.

I heard that this is something that is pilot for trial in the coming week.
