Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Hi bros,
I am back with a short 3 days trip, didn't do much,so I just conclude with a quick FR. Day 1 - Touched down and decided to go for a Spa. Referred to bro H88's guide, went Dai Nam Hotel [2], it is behind the hotel but just ask the concierge and you will be directed. Facilities - 8/10, very clean and well maintained Foot Massage - 9/10, excellent, I would go back to this MP bcos of this. Girl - Looks - 8.5 Figure - 8/10 Playable - 6/10, cannot french, didn't take off top, tried very hard to put my hand in but uniform didn't allow much auto roam. HJ - 5/10, No skill at all... Conclusion - If you want to go for syt with looks and figure, good place. If you want service and not time watching, think twice. (I saw many girls walked around, all 8-8.5/10 type) Dmg - Facilities - 300k Girl - 400k tip Foot Massage - 100k tip Day 1 night - Went google and found Napolis (D3), a live band with pretty PRs. A pity I went too late at night so all the pretty ones were taken by japs/chinese. Also because I went solo, I don't want to open bott, so no motivation for girls to join me at the bar. Excellent place for chillout and company, a pity girls don't really speak english (as advised by bros here outside D1 hard to find), so I chat with bartender. Chillout/Band - 8/10 Girls - 8/10 Went back hotel, cannot tahan the "see-cannot-touch" feel at Napolis, tried out wechat (yes, against all advice). Deal at 1.3 mil for ST. She came in 10 min, looks (7/10) and pic (9.5/10) machiam totally different... Well, I asked for it, so experience abit loh. Day 2 - After last experience, decided that MP is still the best, so I ventured around, and found that : a) D.max 1 [1] - no longer hair saloon Address: 9A, Ton That Tung Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City - Closed, yes I thought it meant no longer hair salon but become MP. b) Le Duyen 3 [1] Address: 46, Bui Thi Xuan Street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City Cannot be found, supposed to be upstairs a Korean restaurant but I couldn't locate it upstairs. Also walked past: c) Duyen Dang 1 [1], Duyen Dang 3 [1], Le Duyen 4 [1], My Anh [1] All are hair salons with pretty girls, didn't try because I assumed they are those teasers that only want tips. End up fed up, went to a massage place near Apocalypse (near my hotel) and got a massage... Girl - Looks - 7.5/10 Figure - 7/10 BBBJ - 8/10 I was surprised she go straight to bbbj me when I was still asking her how much. After that then I know.... She quoted me 1 mil for her "massage baby"! I told her 1 mil can get me a ST, and paid her 400k. Massage - 300k Girl - 400k Conclusion Well, being a first time solo-er, I thought I explored quite abit. Though more disappointment, I found myself more exposed to the hcmc sex industry culture. I am open to more exploration in hcmc in future, and definitely won't back down because of 1-2 mishaps. Afterall, that is what adventure is about |

I don't like and don't want to overpay. I'm not the type to tip like boss. But if mamasan can negotiate better than me and scam me than power to her. I lan lan (coz I don't want to make a big fuss over 100k.. If more I turn and walk away). I explore these places for the fun & experience. Why does it seem you don't want people to try? :/ Btw, I choose D7 coz I intend to stay there and explore the area this upcoming trip. Previously I based myself at D10. I'm sure you know that area has many ST hotels and Ktvs and FS massage shops (1.3m price). Seems targeted at Taiwanese biz-man from what I gather from girls and mamasan. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Hey guys, there are actually a bunch of D7 ST hotels cross from RMIT on Nguyen Van Linh. I have seen karaokes in D7, on NVL east of Nguyen Thi Thap for example, and on streets in that area, but NO IDEA what is on offer, quality level, etc.

Guess what. I just checked Google Maps. RMIT and the little area cross NVL from it with all the ST hotels actually both are still in D7. It's past the big red bridge when you are in Binh Chanh. And actually something I always wondered about, that Truong Son area that everybody calls D8, THAT whole area is actually Binh Chanh, technically speaking. Duong So 9A with the big palm trees, all the way up to the roundabout and past up as far as the bridge, that's all Binh Chanh. Cross the bridge and OK that's D8 again. Anyway, back to the D7 ST hotels, they're pretty nearby and convenient if you are in Phu My Hung area and need them. I have used some. Inside they feel fresher and more airy than ST hotels in other parts of the city. The ones I went to don't require any ID. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
Hey Wendella, thanks for the input.
Pls guys, I'm still hoping for a ballpark estimate for budget Ktv. Doesn't matter D7 or not right? (Is there a big difference between districts?) Thanks. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
As long as you are a foreigner, walking into a KTV is like a lamb going for slaughter. Perhaps you are fluent in tv and can visit one of those family-ktvs meant for locals.
U might have better luck in those noisy discos/clubs. At least u can watch the sexy DJ shaking her boobs. |

MC, the hotels I mention are just 1.5km from the expat area. That's closer and quicker to get to than NTT. The main expat area of D7 includes the square area near Skygarden and also other side of NVL, Phu My Hung, the area that has all the fast food places, Starbucks, Panorama, the 2 big malls (Vivo City, Crescent) etc. The RMIT area is a nice quite area. NTT is a shabby, very local-style overcrowded area. OK there are NOT many mongering options in Phu My Hung, correct. There are FS MPs near SG (on premises, no need for hotel) and also at least the one Korean ktv I mentioned. Anyway the guy isn't even keen on D7 so probably no reason for us to get to the bottom of this one. GTTT, a couple of members here put up some reports on typical KTV prices. One was by Ecchi. Other was McLovin@. Try to search on their reports and I think you will find what you need. Maybe as far back as September 2015 though. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
The question is why must chiong Ktv in d7...not that you are very far away from hundreds of Ktv in d1, d5, d3, d10...,

Well, it's my pet project to try out areas I have never tried. Already explored 1/3/5/10, so next area to see is D7. Hmm say... What's the difference between Ktv in D10 vs D7? Hmm let me test this out next trip ok. :P Last edited by GTTTT; 23-03-2016 at 02:09 PM. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM (Thread 3)
It's incredible how you guys manage to know these massage joints and hookers personally in an ocean of 10 million humans in HCMC.
HCMC is full of dense neighborhoods with narrow alley ways, where people hang out, eat, sleep, sell foods. It's not easy to navigate. That area is probably 5 to 6 miles from district 1 with horrific traffic. It's not feasible for mongers unless they live in HCMC. |
