No lah, definitely not the same guy, this doc was well dress in 3 piece suit & was walking out from a local hotel & the car that picked us up was something like a black toyota camry. The doc did not showed me the creatures(look more like a fish with a snout about 3ins in length) but the 3rd guy on the side walk flash it for a few seconds, I would say it was quite well set up, inexperienced or greed could have got the better of some Bros. This was definitely not a cheap lure that most of the clowns try to set up at Gongbei. They must have got away from some victims otherwise where got capital for this type of set up.

Yah there are some who stay in pensao but these are easy to spot: anything below $400. Most actually stay in 4 star hotels that are quite nice.

To all the Bros who gave advices to my question.
Let me share with ALL since I made the trip there and back.

From Shenzhen to ZhuHai:
(a) Take MRT all the way to Shekou Harbour. (They just opened the new extension on 28 Dec.) If you are taking the MRT from Louhu, pay 7 RMB for the entire MRT journey to Shekou. During which you will need to change to the Shekou MRT line at Windows of the World station.
(b) At Shekou harbour, take the ferry (96 RMB) to Jiuzhou Harbour in Zhuhai ~1hr. Ferry leaves hourly during the day.


Return from Zguhai to Shenzhen, just do the reverse.

Just to share. Air Macau now fly from Singapore T1 to Macau on Monday and Friday. Cheap for a full airline. Depart Singapore at 0650am and depart Macau at 0200am.

The ferry is 30min frequency. If travelling from Luohu to Gongbei, do consider taking a bus for your next trip. Might be about 2.5 hrs or so. Bus tickets about 75rmb. Ferry and mrt route to and fro Luohu will take you more than 2 hours already.
