The PI is getting more reckless so bros do take extra precautions when venturing into unknown territory. Even the bodyguard of the Justice Secretary (equivalent to our Home Affairs Minister) De Lima was murdered few days ago. He was still working with De Lima on last thursday and left that night to return home. His bullet riddled body was found the next day after colleagues failed to receive any response from attempts to contact him. Justice Secretary De Lima had testified before Senate in the impeachment trial against the Chief Justice Corona and had refused to return to Senate to be cross-examined. She suspects the murder and her testimony are linked.

Just last week a shootout between 2 groups of policemen in Ilolo resulted in 4 dead and 6 injured including 2 bystanders.

Immigration authorities have arrested a 40 year old Singaporean male chinese for human trafficking of 4 pinays into the island state in 2008. He allegedly recruited these waitresses from Tarlac, Samar and brought them over to Singapore. The girls were forced to work in pubs and provide sexual services. The girls were rescued and repatriated with assistance from the International Justice Mission. Investigations by the DoJ was conducted to establish the identity of the Singapore male and he was placed on the watchlist. He was arrested after coming into Manila from Malaysia. Prosecutors are seeking for a minimum jailtime of 3 years.

In Cebu, the 2nd son of the Mayor of Cebu was gunned down while partying at a niteclub. He was killed with a single shot to the left side of his head at point blank. Earlier he was seen having an argument with some other patrons of the club.

A good one for me is Bachelor night for a buddy who is getting married.
A friend of mine, even went to the trouble of making friends with a printer and everytime the printer printed a wedding invitation, he would send one to my friend house... my friend would lament to his CO that "sigh, another wedding to attend. and have to go on Bachelor party summore"... and off he went! hehe
