I will be going to JKT soon, and unfortunately, I will be staying in Mulia =X
I will be there over the weekends and am travelling alone for meetings.

The last time I went JKT was like 20 yrs ago (exchange rate S$1 : RP1500), yea...that long.
I realised I am a noob when I am in JKT.

Hope this helps a bit for the Bros that come alone, and bottom line is that the Mercure is just in a sweet spot, close to all the action and without hassle of being stuck in the traffic going from 1 place to another. I stayed in different parts of Jakarta before, but this one is tops for me.

Dont be afraid to venture a little bit further. Ask the Hotel to get you a Bluebird cab (very very trusty) and go to Alexis hotel. They have everything for your pleasure and since u like Spa, go to the 7th Floor - Bath House. It's heaven. I guarantee you will love it.

They require a cover charge of 150k rupiah (20 sgd) for all the amenities, like sauna, hot pool, steam, they even got those doctor fish pools. They have lots of girls to choose from. Local, PRCs, Thais and Russians.

Don't be afraid afteru finish. The hotel has Gamya cabs (very trusty as well) to get you back to your hotel.

Wel, i used to frequent Tropical Spa, it is in Pluit right by the toll exit/entrance (i live nearby there so i frequent the joints nearby).

I havent been there in like a years time, but they opened till late nights till 1 am. they have nice facilities too. Hot pool, steam, sauna and there are a couple of spa rooms you can choose, from normal room to vip room with jacuzzi inside.

But for the girls, you have to really ask.. my favorite last time was Trias, number 111.

since u dare not ventured out too far (but alexis hotel also not far if no jam) , thus CJ is ur safest choice.....drinks can all charged to room so no need bring so muchie cash out, no risk of kenna carrot by taxi
