Route to Amazing Wizard..
1.Exit new checkpoint by turning right.
2.At T-junction, turn left. D'Bali ( d latest happening drink place in jB is at ur right)
3. go straight until Duty Fre then turn left...about 500m away, at T-Junction, turn right.
4. go along this road, stulang darat for about 1.5km then u will come across a polo field on ur right. there's acurve ahead to turn left and u shld see a Shell Station on right.
5. at traffic light, turn right and Presto, Amazing Wiz...
6. turn in the small lane for free parking beside the joint (wth security sum more)
7. you can makan at the AhMeng Restaurant next door...damn good food....muz try the fried beehoon and steam chicken..and the angmoh kana drink!!

18 Filipino gals held in raid on JB Pub

JOHOR BAHRU : A raid on a pub in Jalan Simbang, Taman Perling, Johor Bahru last Thursday uncovered a syndicate which specialised in bringing in women from Philippines for vice activities.

18 women, aged between 18 and 33, were nabbed in the 10 pm operation led by officers from the Immigration Department.

The department's Enforcement Director, Datuk Ishak Mohamad, who led the raid, said a 27-year-old man, believed to be the manager of the pub, was also arrested.

He said the immigration officers involved in the operation were from a team set up at the department's headquarters in Putrajaya.

They had been monitoring the premises for a week before the raid.

" We received a tip-off on the presence of foreign women there "

Ishak said initial investigation revealed that the Filipino women were not only guest relation officers but also provided sexual services. They charged between RM 250 and RM 300 for a session at a nearby hotel.

He said the women were brought into the country by the syndicate through Singapore using social visit visas obtained from the Malaysian High Commission in the republic. The visa enables its holder to stay in the country for up to 3 months.

Once the visa was about to expire, the women would then leave the country through the Malaysian border with Thailand before returning here on fresh travelling documents.

Checks on the passports of the women revealed some of them stayed in Johor Bahru since January last year ( 2007 ), presumably earning a lucrative income as sex workers.

Efforts are being made to bring to book the syndicate members.
