what???? $2k to extract a wisdom tooth???? I never heard of such exorbitant price in my life! I thought normal extraction shld cost around $200 to $300.

I believe it is root canal treatment. Quite strange that if just to extract tooth still do root canal. But then I'm not a dentist so unable to comment on it. Will try to get her to seek a second opinion.

I've just called her and she says she's slightly better now. I live quite near to her, five mins by cab so told her to call me if anything is up. Will call her periodically to check up on her. Will try to arrange to bring her to a dentist tomorrow.

I'm no dentist. But it is better to seek a few opinions first. Visit a few dentists first. Some dentists like to advise extreme procedures so they can get more $.
I kenna tooth ache before. Visited one dentist and he told me need to extract entire tooth out. He told me about $1k. I kind of freak out but agree to it as I was in pain. He proceed to do root canal treatment. Dig out the nerves in the tooth. Got inject Anesthetic. So won't feel pain. Will feel numb until next morning. Pay $50 at counter as I told recep no $. My tooth never gave me problems since. I never went back to the dentist even after persistent calls from the recep.
As for wisdom tooth, I had no experience on that. Other Bros might want to advise.

ya... agreed that tooth extraction is the last resort cos to the dentist extracting it means the end of his business for that tooth.... so they'll try all means to save it. Hence, the high cost.... tiok boh?

Make appointment with her ard 130pm. Actually i arrived there quite earlier. no chance to change earlier. the session start 130pm sharp. my FR is as below:

Face: 6/10
