First time I hear this. Every time I go to Batam, the first thing I do is to buy 2 new SIM cards (the ones I have have expired already), one for my old GSM phone, which I use only for SMS and calls, another with 15 GB data plan for my mobile wifi router (long discussion about this already), which becomes my personal wifi hotspot always with me anywhere I go.
Go to any phone retailer in Lucky Plaza or Nagoya Hill, for example.

I asked roadside shop they say cannot need Indo identification cards NIK, Kartu kluarga mother name etc. So troublesome.

Would like to know must go their Telco outlet do can they help? Or really we can't keep number?

I believe you are right on this one, i just bought another Andromax device yesterday evening (this time at Lucky Plaza instead of Nagoya Hill Mall) and have been using it for the last 28 hours. They didnt ask for any particulars. However,i read that a new Indonesia law requires all Indo sim card/s to be registered tho.

I'm kind of piss off with the NEW wifi network in formosa hotel. Its getting worse,and i cannot afford to keep calling them up EVERYDAY just to ask them come to my room to settle the wifi issue and their wired internet connection. (they changed to some new ISP recently which start to make things worse)

So now,i am happily surfing away with my USB connected andromax (i can go wireless but i turn off my laptop wifi) and testing its reliability (and monitoring my last 24 hour usage).

I hd tried using the photo of my passport in my hp to register, they don't accept.

This serves as a reminder for those who keep PP In hotel.

Overall, my first batam trip consider smooth.
Manage to find gold bird with nono bro map. Booked a girl with 1.1juta, after discount 200k.

The sad part is my girl reach at 5pm, and lai ang. No choice, need travel to booking joint get a new girl.
