Hi

Newbie here. Was planning for a trip to Yangon this month, however found out need to get visa to enter.
So need some help. Is there any travel agent in Singapiore that help to apply visa for a fee?
If not then have to take leave from work to go the Myammar embassy to apply for the visa. Rather save the leave for my trip.

Yes. There is Just go to those travel agency at peninsula plaza. They charge about $45 to $55 for it. U need to bring along yr original passport, copy of I/C, a few I/C size photos and a name card(If u dont have a name card, u need to produce a letter from yr employer to prove yr employer status in that company)
It will take about 4-5 days to process it. U can collect it after yr work.
Save time, save hassle.(BTW, it cost about $30 if u do it yourself at the embassy + personal leave

Hi Bro Havana,

Must one prove that he is currently working in order to visit Myanmar ? What if he is retired or unemployed but still wish to visit the country on his own?

Opps, sorry...This I not very sure.
But the reason why they need the proof is becos the Myanmar government dont welcome photographer, reporter...
I am not sure about the current situation, maybe there is less red tape after the elections

Honestly, it is a good place to visit, you can go to Mandalay & Bagan on your off days.....

Normally I describe to my frens that Myanmar is a very safe place to go, even safer than places such as Manila, BKK and Kuala Lumpur within this region.

Lolz...Darn...most prob i will be there 1st - 8th Feb...
but i think its gonna be a boring trip this time round, couple of my bosses will be travelling with me....hope can find time and sneak out at night..
