Yossi Benayoun finally gets what he had worked so hard for ...... He has been given a 2-year extension on his contract

Just some 10 months ago Boss was ready to sell him but we are all really happy for Yossi that he managed to prove to the Boss his valuable contribution to Liverpool to earn himself that contract extension

This is one of the best news I have heard in a long time coming from Anfield, especially with all the news of Alonso being a Madrid player by July 19th.

Yossi has deserved this contract and I hope he has a bigger role to play next season for number 19.

My only concern is will he have the legs to continue by 2013 when he will be 33?

at the end of the day, its just all pure speculation by the agents and tabloids.. if they can pay 80M for CR9, then i dont see why they cant pay 40+M for alonso... cos he is worth that much to us anyway..

MICHAEL Owen has begun his Manchester United career by breaking his wrist in three places while attempting to sign his new contract.

for Sturridge, he impressed me every game i watched of Man City.
Especially his goal against Blackburn, that was something special!
