Problems...it is as if we ourselves did not have enough of them. Sometimes, they should learn to take charge of their own lives and make things right. But maybe it is just their cultural social norm for the gals to bear all...especially the finanical ones. Once they know that she can get money for them, they will always stretch out their hands to ask for more. The whole family tree will tap her $. It never stops. Sad but we can't help them all.

Money is the root to all evil and what you say about gals bearing the full responability is very true. In my case, her sister and her bro dump their kids with her mother and disappeared into god know where, expecting the poor old lady to take care of them plus all the other crap problems. Of course, being the only daughter beside her, she now has to shoulder all the shit. Finally all these shit now landed in my lap. Unforunately I dun own a money tree, so there is no way I can help forever.

This is one of the reason for the cold war.

I should say fortunately you are not the money tree...cos if you are, she will shake you till your maybe your balls also drop off. Some money is useful to defer the problem but i see no point as they never get to the roots of their problem. I had seen some whom beside needing to provide for some daily expenses of their family back home but also needs to buy lots of gift for their whole family tree and it must quite branded stuff as well due to "face" factor and they just get theirselves so troubled financially. Then again, it is difficult to change their mindset... Dun brood over it too much... there is a limit to what you can do for her. She has to know that...if she dun, all i can say is that she dun really worth that much of your time.
