Controlled the first half, lost control in the second.

A fair result, I guess. In fact, Spurs just shaded it over the whole game, but that is to be expected on their home ground. They could have nicked it too, but fortunately for us they are suffering the same misfiring diesease as us.

Can't believe Bruno smacked the crossbar with that shot....

Lindelof and De Gea were great, Casemiro getting his edge back. That blind pass by Eriksen to Sancho.... wow. Commentator said 'eyes in the back of his head'.

Anyway, they have used up their buffer in terms of 3rd place. Can't have any more slip ups. But the run-in includes Brighton whom they have lost to and drawn over 90 mins this season, a resurgent Villa who beat them at Villa Park and fighting for a place in Europe, an unpredictable Chelsea... So many potential banana skins for this fatigued team. Only Bruno seems like he has the cheat code for unlimited energy.

They were just plain lazy and they decided to switch off seeing it is already 2-0 at HT.

It had happened numerous times before.

If you analyse the 1st half, there were many occasions Spurs could have scored too. So, I was not really surprised to see Spurs coming back to equalized.

Like the Europa match against Sevilla, nice nice cruising 2-0 at HT, then 2nd half become lethargic and it became 2-2.

Brighton hv just fired a warning last night to the red pussies who r both due to meet in the next 2 matches hammering Wolves 6-0 with every of their 10 players hungry to score or assist to score goals ...can the red pussies hold them not talking abt defeating them ??....even stronger is the villa team all of whom r attack minded n r playing to win nothing short of that

Yes, they did...but only by the skin of their teeth ...2 or 3 mins more n Villa would hv scored their equaliser....Knucklehead switched from attacking football to defending football by pulling out Sancho n Eriksson replacing them with McGuire n Fred...sigh...but he is lucky...lady luck smiled on him again even though he made a mistake by switching from attack to defend...the minute he made the sub n switch, Villa players took control of the match n kept attacking them in waves until they almost couldn't breathe

Lucky they didn't drop their pants but played pretty good attacking football in the 1st n early part of 2nd half till the silly gaffer switch from attacking to defending football pulling out Sancho n Eriksson n replacing them with McGuire n Fred thus relinquishing control of the match to villa who kept attacking them to get an equaliser...Lady luck smiled on him again ....n fortunately villa players took a day off when all their good players like Watkins etc had a quiet day on the pitch
