Pinay very smart one. A girl give my friend a t-shirt as farewell present, he is so touched he bought her 2-3 times that amount and now tio KC and become her boyfriend.

That 2-3 times the t-shirt amount is not really much n one-off thing.
What matters more really depends on how much he is forking out for her after becoming her boyfriend n how often he meet her?

Western Union, rental, allowance monthly?
Expensive gifts (ipad, iphone, branded bags)?

Though some necessary spending on food, clothes, small gifts n pocket money is necessary IMO,
Hope he doesn't become an ATM for her.

For me i always show the budget side of me, so don't think they want me as boyfriend.

room 1,800 - at today's peso conversion approx - 54 $ per night - so 3 days, if you plan the flight, you can get away with 2 nights stay = 108 $

Food - if you are not so super hungry or only live on steak and such, you can make do with 30 $ max per day = X 3 = 90 $

Then you got 800 $ to play with ..

which converts to about 27,000 peso - damn, that's a lot of money

Average of 1 bar fine in night, at all-inclusive - 4,000 X 2 night = 8,000
Average of 2 barfine in day time - ST all incl - 2,000 X 2 X 3 days = 12,000

and leaves you with about 7,000 for more fun ..
