Our Encounter at a BLACK SHOP in Hanoi

about a week ago one evening, i was riding my bike with no where to go.. then a small bike with 3 pretty girls and one man went pass me. Looks like the man is sending the girls to be shagged.So I tailed them until saw them arrive at 60 Thai Ha KTV. So I KIV...

Last night, me and another samsters stormed into 60 Thai Ha.. went up to room, sit down and the waiter asked what we want to drink... looking at the situation, I thought that this must be some kind of "BLACK SHOP".. so defenses up! Anyway in liao, so lets see how far we go.

Tell waiter, we want to see the software first, if softwares no good, we go liao.. they send some after about 10 mins of wait.. my friend choose 1, nothing to shout about..session started and I called for re-inforcement and two other cheongsters arrives in 15 mins..

Now the waiter brought in beer and 2 plates of fruits and a big plate of packets of tidbits and 2 ladies drinks for each lady sitting with us. Now the looks of it confirms its a BLACK SHOP Liao,.. so I fuck the waiter and tell him that if he brings in anything else that i did not order, I am going to fuck him more jialak and not going to pay for things I did not order. So he promptly took those things out.. then I ask him to come in again and explain each item and prices.. such as room charges.. beer.. etc. All a bit on high side by about 20% but we let it pass and started singing..

Sound system was good, with remote control and songs selection FANTASTIC.. got Chinese, Hokkien and even Teochew songs..

2.5h passed, at 2300H, the waiter says closing time and so we check-out.. the bill come and as expected, there was a surprise installed for us... they charged us VND15k (S$1.50) for each girl that we rejected, saying that it is for the transportation cost. So I told the manager, this was not made know to us and we will NOT pay... call the police if not happy.. big argument big show... anyway, me and friends not in a rush, money is no problem, its just about S$20 more only.. we just want to see how far we can push them... stand-off for 20 mins.. Manager sit in our room dunno what to do while we ignore him and continue to sing.

Then he give up and left the room and says "U guys continue to sing.I continue to charge the time.."

I took the bill, went out and talked to him, this time more nicely.. so he said.. he quite fed up with this thing also..boss's instructions and it gave him lots of problem.. he have no choice but to call boss but he is somewhere else and cannot come however boss says discount 50% for that item, so S$10 off. Since he give way a bit, i also agreed to meet halfway but thinking NEVER to come back again after all I had a good time shouting at the waiters and girls since I arrive.. so they must have black-listed me as well ;-)

Now in Black Shop like this.. if u not careful, usually the bill will come up to about VND1.5mil (S$150), anyway bcos we already rejected many things and finally our total bill is VND600K only.. so not too bad as this is even a little below the normal rate for good Local KTV.

So with Triumphant feeling we march down and got out of that place.. then one of my friends dropped the bomb.. he says .."duh.. i think i left my digital camera in the room lei..how??"

I was thinking "die liao la.. they sure found it and hide it liao.. shit man!"

Anyway, both of us walk back in, told the waiter that we have been shouting at that we left something in the room. He promptly tell us to follow him up to the room to check.. we damn sure we are the losers this time... he ran right up, went into the room before we could catch up . . and came up with the digital camera in his hand and gave it back to us! wow! good service!

CONCLUSION
----------
1. Black shop not say cannot go.. u need to know what to do when u encounter one.
2. people who works in Black Shop are not necessary crooks.. its just a system put in place by their boss.
3. the girls are Random as they call called in from various places.. so sometimes u get gems.
4. Certain place that looks and operate like Black Shops offers girls that are keen to land u a fuck at the hotel next door.
5. To us, we call this Black shop.. to the locals.. they call this a different system and not offended by it

Duration : 2.5H
Total Damage : VND600K and tips for girls at VND100K each
Satisfaction of verbally abusing the girls and waiters : priceless!
RTF : No, just found out a few new places much better than this, so lets try out the others... ;-)

Advise to cheongsters whom is not able to speak Viet, pls dun try this place. They will chop u like carrot.

Well written & good infomation.

If you want to cheong those small joint like this. It's better to go with the local or expert like you. If not they will squeeze your balls man.

In fact our last trip, we kanna also. Damage about the same as you. But it's ok lah. The waiter talk & behave like gangster man.

One more cheap flight from HCMC to central Vietnam’s largest city

Vietnam’s no-frills carrier Pacific Airlines will add a round-trip flight to its daily HCMC-Danang service beginning Friday, bringing the total to three round-trips per day.

The carrier is also planning to open a new route from the central city of Hue – Vietnam’s former imperial capital – to the beach resort hot spot of Nha Trang on the south central coast.

The carrier offers flights to and from Hanoi, Danang and Bangkok via HCMC.

Bro Botar, thanks for the reply. I thought you were based here...my mistake. Another uneventful night. Had a nice dinner at Cyclo bar & restaurant. Duck breast french style for S$12, can't go wrong. Took a cab and asked to go Apocalypse Now. He couldn't find the place and brought me to some far away place. In the end asked him to go R&R Bar. Total cab fare was 250K Dong!

Had a nice beer and talked to the owner. Took another cab to New Century but it's closed! Don't know any other happening place so came back to the hotel.

I've one more night here so I'll try to PM the Commanders. Hope HCM is better. I've a friend who's there to bring me around...he married a Vietnamese wife.
