Front desk : you owe H81 Changi S$1XX(Hundred something. Forget exact amount liao).
Me : What?
Front desk : That was overnight charge. Please settle there.
Me : Overnight???!!! I only take 2 hrs fun time and returned the key 2 weeks ago.
Front desk : I dun know, you go Changi to explain
Me : This means, for the mistake of your staff not checked out for me after returning the key and bill as overnight outstanding???!!!
Front desk : I dun know, you go Changi to explain else next time you can't have overnight in any H81.



This is not the first time liao. I remembered last year, it also happened at H81 Elegance. 2 hrs fun time and returned key. Next visit was charge S$1XX for that so called outstanding. I reject to pay of cause.

LL, Now must go all the way to H81 changi to clarify. That would be when I'm going to get another FL for a sexxion there next time. Some more H81 is $30 2hrs charge!!

Just sharing my experience here. I've been at K81 for many times and does not encounter much problem so far. I've exceeded 5-10mins almost every time and will just pass the key to the staff and leave immediately w/o turning my head...how come gt bro kena asked to pay $10 extra for exceeding just 5mins? One thing i hate abt K81 is the lift...damn slow to reach floor by floor...easily 5 mins gone for waiting!!!

As for Public Holiday, i went to K81 on National Day and it was still $20 w/o any surcharge, not sure for other branches. But they do like to exaggerate alot on the waiting time...a few times told me gotta wait for 20-30mins but received the call in less than 10mins. When i book the rm, i just simply tell the staff "2 hrs" and gave a $50 note so that i would have change to tip the FL and the staff always returned me $30. Maybe some bros like to ask "How much?" and the staff thought u'r ignorant and then try his luck to request for $30 and keep the $10.

When i first sign up for membership at K81 and went to Balestier H81 2 weeks later, the staff requested me to pay $30 but i told him that i had already signed up for the membership at K81. He then explained that it takes around 1 mth for the info to transmit to all the other branches and charged me $20 instead. Hope my sharing would help to clear some doubts.

From my own experience, Kovan81, Lavender81, Selegie81 all charge $20 for 2 hours transit (I'm a member already). Bencoolen81 and bugis81 charges me $30 for 2 hours transit. Not sure if I got ripped off anot but I just dont understand the rationale behind certain hotel81's being more expensive than others. I've only supported fragrance hotel @ kovan and it's $20 for 2 hours transit and I'm not a member there. Cheers!

Except for Selegie, i've been to all the above branches and i dun remember paying $30. Only $30 i paid was for Tristar at JC. I made an effort to find out why.......cos got swimming pool.......

As a member, dun even need deposit. But as i posted earlier......my membership 'fades away with each stay'..........

Come to tink of it, for $30, i rather go Gateway hotel @ JC........but thats all in the past now.

bro, i also kena once at L81 , they did tell me it 30. alot people waiting . so paiseh to ask. i thought it was peak hour about 7pm. k! will ask for reciept next time if charge 30 again. member for so many year . still kena .cb . thanks for bro who start this tread.
