Back in rhe 1980s - early 90s.... the Chairman was a retired umpai from CID. Dunno who took over after his death but afaik the post of Chairman is an appointee by the gahmen.....not elected by the menbers.
I dun tink the association is active now as there has been no agendas or meeting notes filed during the past few years.

The assoc. Is unofficial now, nevertheless to kinda standardise pricings, still gotta get together and subject to approval on major decisions. Heard Ah guang, one of the elders. Pardon me, can't reveal his shops though.
