My personal wishlist: I wonder if Rafa will sign Robbie Fowler again. He's out of contract after being released by Blackburn. Sure, he's no longer the player he used to be. But surely he can be a role model/coach for our reserve or Academy team plus 4th striker in our team. Having a positive influence in Fowler (damn, can't call him Robbie anymore) will be instrumental in the 2nd half of our season. Plus, he won't be expensive. Good players can be bought with money. Dedication, motivation, local pride... those are things that only certain players can bring to the team

Given that we are leading the table now, I hope we can sign players who can pull the team to our first title. If I were a good player looking for a move, I will be interested in Liverpool now. Play good or great for half a season and be crowned EPL champions. Sounds like a good idea.

I wonder if Keane and Benayoun will have to legs to last another fast paced 90 mins. Playing Newcastle will be the best thing for us now. U know they will surely play attacking football and leave gaps for us to attack. So different from teams who park a bus when they play us.

Bro, I know you are trying to be sarcastic about the looks thing. Just to side-track a bit, our team got very few handsome players. Kuyt is definitely not a looker. In our team, maybe only Torres and Alonso. The girls I watch with find our team ugly as compared to the other Big 3.

i think it s highly unlikely as benitez is trying to build a new "culture" at liverpool and will be unlikely to bring in old players who can potentially destroy what he has done so far.

btw, do u guys think that alonso will be sold? personally he's been the in form player in my opinion and surely if he is sold the balance of the team will be disrupted

He normally buy so much one ah? $300 bet on us, $1k bet on Arsenal. All gone.

So glad Chelsea drew. We now have a 3 point lead. Hope Man U drop points too. I don't think we will sell Alonso. Why will Alonso want to leave us now ( when we have a good chance to win the title) to join Arsenal (a team aiming to retain their place in the top 4)? It doesn't make sense for him to leave us in the Jan transfer window.

I think we took out our recent frustration on Newcastle today - what a superb performance from us! Of course shit defending by the Barcodes but we attacked from start to end and could have easily gone into double digits.

A super shout out for Lucas who is my MOTM. Ran the midfield beautifully, created Stevie's second with an exquisite through ball and nearly had a hat-trick himself.

Another big shout out for Rafa. Tactics spot on. Kuyt battled the Newcastle defense alone and held the ball up nicely. We rotated, we rested and we had our biggest and best win of the season so far. Boo hoo the pundits!!

aiya bro dun say oredi me dam tulan siah ... missed d jackpot on our beloved Pool. moral of story: 1 shd nt procasinate if he got feel abt certain match. yester odds oredi dropped to ard 1.68 late evening liao. by this evening, it was 1.55. mayb mkt heard somethg abt Pool, hence some big boys bot in bulks?

not yr luck means not yr luck lah, but nevertheless of cos i was happy to see Pool win.

ok seems like tonite kiam chye miah ... not my day perhaps ... went to watch d last epl game BB v Man C which i bot over 2.5 goals n 2-2, 3-3. with BB leading 2-0 n 6 mins of normal time left, i was destined to my ill-fate n preparing to tear up d tix. then suddenly ManC popped up with 2 late goals, with d equaliser in d death of inj time. wah si bei relieved man ... my salted vege life is not so wretched afterall. with all d suay luck, at least there's still a tinge of gd luck. in d end, nett nett, manage to reverse d losses of $100+ into a few plates of chicken rice.
