The stable in question was in operation pre-Covid and has always been reliable and not in the Bait and Switch business. As other bros have mentioned, some stables (I don't recall if this was one of them) required you to take a selfie of your shirt, so the girl knows who to look for when she comes down to get you or when they open the door. This in my mind is ok and adds to the general safety. Think about it.. how are they going to verify who you are from a selfie with your face ?

It sounds like you have been unlucky and maybe have encountered an inexperienced operator who did not really understand the "selfie" requirement, and also had poor customer service skills when it became clear he most likely sent you to the wrong location.
