It is not anywhere near Sek Yuen, as Sek Yuen Restaurant is along Jalan Pudu but this food court (named Grand Pudu) off Jalan Pasar. It is located next to the Pasar Road wet market (behind a Caltex station??)

I popped in tonight after kao tim Ye Hua.

The place is NOT conducive even for lim kopi

It is so near to the wet market loading place, it STINKS big time.......no way ot can challenge NPW

Count me out of this place.

I understand that some places are mainly for local mongers and the foreigners may not be welcome. Even though my only visit to ACE was a very brief one (in and out in 15 minutes), I would like to explore local mongering places in some details, just out of curiosity. Now, my question to you people is whether the locals in KL would mind if I try to explore the local mongering scene at places like ACE, OS Food Court, Brickfield or Chow Kit etc. FYI, I am of middle eastern origin. Similarly, if I go to a KTV where mostly the locals frequent, will they make me feel being out of place?

I'm speaking as a foreigner myself, but the local brothers have been so helpful and friendly to me. I tried talking to some older uncles at ACE once, and they started pouring me one beer after another. So just be respectful, understand that this definitely isn't Beach Club, and I don't think anyone will make you feel unwelcome.

A little board and a little tired so decided to drop by ACE tonight and have a look see. Both ACE veerens Pomrakthai and Mesohorny was on their off day so what the heck, solo it is them.
