Yes, Thailand do grant visas on arrival BUT unless the PRC national is part of an organized Tour Group, China Immigration will NOT allow her to exit China.

Ask her to go to any travel agent to apply for her Thai visa prior as it is a real hassle to apply personally in the Thai Consulate in GZ - plus it only costs an extra couple hundred or so RMB's and done within a week.

An added bonus is that with her Thai visa in her passport, she is allowed to transit for 7 days in Hong Kong before going off - or returning - from Thailand.

Why u got mass zap is cause some ppl dun like ur posting and get his gang to mass zap u. Why they willing to do that is cause they are all cheong buddy.. They have met each other and party together.

Yes, it's true. She needs to show the Thailand visa to leave China. Usually I will bring my mm to HKG first and fly from HKG to BKK than can apply the visa-on-arrival at BKK Airport. FYI it can take more than an hour in BKK airport for the application, alternatively you can opt for the express application for a fee.
Oh need to add that my girl already have VISA to visit HKG. So I can use this way.
So for your case, if she does not have, better to apply the BKK VISA first in China.

its the freaking queue... and the officer bery slow... apply in china less headache... last time i flew with one without visa then do visa on arrival no problem. then after that another time the china officer say cannot need visa zzzz. so apply in china first..

i guess its safer to apply for the visa for bkk in cp first
any idea how much it cost or more imptly how long it will take to get that visa?
my girl is currently back in hometown and will only be back mid-month. the trip is end of the month.

No lah.. I think not that..

For u to apply for a Thai tour group visa, u will need a china passport.

That visa is for tour group. It's for u to go over to hk or Macau to catch a plane to Thailand. And u apply for a 落地签 when in Thai.

All brothers bringing girls oversea, to bangkok, malaysia,jakarta make your visa in china cost 200rmb to 300rmb. My pzl girl was sent back before she step out of airport in malaysia. Also make sure she have enough us dollar or rmb with her.
