I think this thread has been the source of many info to many bros but also a bane to others .......

since joo chiat is so quiet and the level of post have dropped....

shall we vote to close this thread since vietnamisation exists in all levels and not just joo chiat .....

Last nite Channel 8 has a show documenting Joo Chat becomng a second Geylang.

It shows also that joo chat has 46 entertainment licences as of Nov 2004. An increase from 26 as of 2002.

Looks like there are going to be more raids by police, jus be on the watch out

an increase in entertainment licence does not equte more raids .... guess who issue the licence in the 1st place..... an average joint will have to pay about 15 to 20k a year for all the necessary license ..... so imagine how revenue goes into the Bank of Sillypore and tax as well if the joints do well ........ so this is money and in this case if the joints close so do the Bank of Sillypore....

The money for ERS also come from there ......

There should be one repeat telecast during the weekdays afternoon. Keep a lookout on its time slot.
