Agree with you bro. The market maker know what positions are out there, so they adjust accordingly so that they make the most .... sometimes worse, bid offer spread is so ridiculous .... might as well they go and rob ...

depends on hw dow jones perform tonight.

dollar yen is nt very strong at the moment so there might be some selling in the US market.

if dow jones can stay above 11967 it will be good.

simsci can stay above 365.1 there will be further upside.

hsici must stay above 23070.

as the indices gap up too much today, selling pressure will probably come in tomolo.

just my views.

if u wan to trade warrants go for hsi warrants issue by mbl will be better as more liquidity.

Hey Bros,

When i started my thread New Year Resolutions...i have been reminding myself to cut out all unnecessary expenses esp paid sex,ktvs,etc & keep myself busy with my business,fitness,golf & look for true love !...

Been thru' all these after losing $250K during the Dot Com / CLOB Stock Market crash...it was a very expensive life long lesson for me.And since i'm single I had to assure my parents that i'll never invest / trade in the share market again !!!....If i had made the $500K that i had targetting...i could have gone super crazy by becoming over confident that i was invincible punting / trading...when i was up $250K in a month...i went crazy i used JW Marriot HK liked "transit in Hotel 81 with top PRC model for HK$8K for quickie !"...And during my stay there,the market was crashing...my damn stockbrokers suddenly turned stupid....advised me to decide myself to sell & cut losses...in 15 days i was down $500K...i actually wanted to jump off some high building because i was actually trying to pulled out my hair thinking how to pay my losses !!!....Can you imagine if i accepted all the offers from my stockbrokers that i can trade up to a million each house ??? I would have been bankrupt by now !!!....So thankfully i negotiated to pay all losses by installents !!!........

So BROs - "the stockmarket is a 24 hour casino from now SGX to Dow Jones...you can win some but you can lose even more !!!"......There's no such thing that your stock have support at certain levels...because when the "banker behind the support level runs away,he have already cashed out his winnings with you holding it up liked a dumb fool !"....

On the other hand during any personal crisis,you can discover yourself,your friends & their reactions & how really close your frienship actually are ???...

So it's good to think about how the future will be ? Test yourself to check how good your experience to read the market's future !!!

Finally the guys with the "biggest balls" to start buying up oversold shares will make the most when the bull returns to the market !!!

Selling pressure might be on starting thurs night. Retail/auto sales will be out at 830, CPI will be out on friday same time. Trend now is down, personally think DJ at most rally for a while before the 28 days is up then the subprime debts will come back again. Short term solution.

Any bros buying the Visa ipo?

ps: with USD/SGD bouncing off historic low of 1.38+, any brave soul want to convert to USD lump sum now?

i on the other hand, am looking more upside for equities.

usd/yen should see some short term covering

eur/usd is a short as we may have seen the high for this year..

If the trend is a bear market now, dont try bottom fishing now, rem, the dot com bust lasted a couple of years so there is no necessity to bottom fish at the moment, there is no such thing as price is very low now and can buy for long term, prices can drop further as long as general market condition no good.

Agreed. S'pore bought Citi at ~$27, it's hovering around ~$20 now. Bought Merrill lynch at ~$53, now it's ~$44. Wait the year out...next 2 yrs might bring better bargains.

Haha, the only difference is the SG govt has deep pcoket bcos we make it deep .... so they can hold song song until jurong, but we cannot
