After we loaded the car with all the groceries bought, i drove her home...otw home...eve was verg quiet and seemed like there was smth on her mind..
Me: what's wrong..suddenly so quiet.. Eve: err.... Me: why? What happen? Eve: I'm sorry... Me: huh?! Sorry for??? Eve: i have been lying to you for the past few hours.. Me: what you mean??? Eve: i...i... Me: silly. Don't need scared la.. just tell me what's wrong.. Eve: actually..I'm not married. Nor is the baby mine.. Me: wow! Then? (I was pretty shocked) Eve: i mean..you just assumed its my baby ma..and i thought we also dunno each other..so...and i thought if i said i was married with baby..you won't乱乱来。 Me: wah..you are confusing me..so you are saying you are not married and no baby...then how you tell me all abt ur hub and baby??? Eve: cause....i see how my elder sister lo..the baby is hers. But today she not feeling well..so i took baby to do the vaccine. Then since you offered to help..i told her i go do groceries too. Me: wah...i feel so used...haha!! Eve: sorry sorry sorry...i decided to tell you cause you are really a nice guy..so i don't need to hide from you. Me: silly..don't need sorry la..you were trying to protect yourself ma.. Eve: you really not angry?? Me: i will not be angry if you honest with me lo... Eve: my name is really "eve" (she din lie abt her name) i am 23 this yr and really just grad frm nus..now just teaching part time tuition before getting a proper job.. Me: ok..seem like the intro all over again..haha!! Eve: sorry la.. Me: nvm la..give a me hug can liao.. (i was just kidding..she was really a nice girl to talk to..) But she really leaned over and gave me a side hug... Me: i kidding only leh.. Eve: ya..i know..but i just wanted to hug you.. Me: huh? But you barely know me.. Eve: ya..i know..but... Me: ya?? Eve: i find you very nice.. Me: so.... Eve: just..feel protected by you lo. Been missing that feeling since i broke up with bf 1yr ago.. Me: oh..feel like I'm big brother la. Eve: nono..i feel like a pampered girl with you.. Tbc..
