how ironic and true. we are expected to do national service (have more babies) and foreign wives are being frowned on, because this will leave local golden cunts high and dry. yet we are not treated any better.

This has become all of a farce, yet society mindset has not change a bit. It's not only about procreation, but I would anytime trade it for relationship quality, given the right companion. It isn't being shallow doing so (foreign gals), but the thoughts of this avenue as a quite fix is shallow.

Give them a bit of competition, for your attention, and attitudes HOPEFULLY will change for the better. Even companies will wise up to competitive actions, so show them we are going global (the second wing, the next lap) of Singapore Inc.

Sg gals are independent now (so to speak) from guys, hear them meow. Hear us ROAR, because we are no pussies, and we do not have to go to our own back yard to get some tiger actions. We are in the era of WTO, so we can be in the South China seas, the Gulf of Thailand, the Gulf of Tonkin, and the seas of Japan, its a global catch now.

I wouldn't mind an Antartica polar bear for company, exotically appealing

. why give a damn for a anorexic "look-like, feel-like" dead pussy that wouldn't even bat a paw at you.

the chemistry between two persons is one of the key.
values, cultures, maturity does govern the relationship of a couple.

while we are talking about 'foreign babes vs local gals' comparing them. they may be doing elsewise..

Nevertheless, our ladies of Singapore has higher average level of education, careers, independance.... some how, a bit of demanding some section...

Jus saw Xia Xue on CH U prog jus now... she is the classical example of the modern SG gal--- Intelligent, confdent, very articulate & self-opinated.

They seemed to have this fear ppl dun know they are intelligent

Always wondering why she has so many supporters? Even TNP invites her to write columms.

Hi.. i seldom post but this topic very interesting and i do have some experience to share. I got a few GF both local and foreigner. Generally foreigner one are much easy to understand.. they are BETTER in almost all ways. However i did also have a very good local gf before. somemore her family is farking rich and she onlys child but she dun have that stuck up attitude and suprising she know how to care for me althought she got 2 maids at home. Too bad she migrate to Aust laizo..

Now i am happy married to a foreigner gal, never regret also..

I still stick to my stand foreign girls are more caring and hows how to take care of the family better, have better attitude compared to local girls. From personal experience that is. Even if this present GF do not work out, i will still go for foreign girls in future. NOt that im ugly or no confidence, but after coming into contact woth foreign girls everyday in my work, that is the conclusion i draw

My present gf (from Ipoh, Malaysia) is a very caring, know how to cook nice food, do housework well, simple, not demending, down-to-earth gal.
Most sg gals like my ex can't even cook, do housework and even her underwear also her mum help her to wash!

Kinda sick, rite???

I agree with 10cc, btw, I'm in my 40s. This business of Sg girls has been around for a loooong time. During my late teens it was exactly the same, most of the sg girls had this idealistic view that foreign men, especially ang mohs were better and ignored local guys.
And this was fuelled by "success" stories of a few who had white husbands.
However, once these same girls hit their 30s - they had a different attitude! They realise how stupid they were but by that time, they were too late!
So anyway, in spite of that, these attitudes passed down from mother to daughter and hence the problem repeats itself.

This is a traditional problem. Even I admit I am guilty in a similar way, for example, when I but something ask the sales made from where, if they say like USA or Japan I will buy it feeling it is better quality

It should be the same mentality I suppose, the gals think we are inferior, and the guys think the foreigners are superior. My lousy 2c.

I personally dun think foreigners ares superoir lo....just hate the snob and stuck-up way Sg gals had treated me! Their behaviour really strange sia...first they dress to kill...but when you take a 2nd look at them, they will give you a CB 'how-lian' face (her face seems like saying 'you want my golden CB but you can't get it...kekeke..).
I really gave up on sg gals!
