1. i don't think age group is that much of a very big issue with chinese girls as compared to their sporean counterparts. if you guys are this far already, i don't think covering up your age is wise, though not necessary bad.

2. house
this is always a very hot topic, like GE. haha. anyway, i will like to share my viewpoint. i think for most of us, to get married, a house is almost a must right? most of us always forget that when we marry in spore also need to buy house wad, right? the ONLY diff is that, in spore, we can use CPF, so we don't feel or consider that much. AND, maybe or perhaps, both are working, so it is not that much of an issue. But, let's not make this house issue a thing which is only exclusive to chinese girls. i don't think it is fair.

as with regards to the purchase of the house, diff provinces and cities in china got slightly diff policies. Even with that, you can always "snake" around, like some of the bros put it here.

it is really hard to say and comment. let me put it this way. years ago, when i decided to marry a chinese, i have friends who made similar comments like the ones you found in this thread. The thing is this: marry a sporean and you won't have such problems? same la, girls are from the same origin, wadever color, wadever OS, wadever build, they behave like Windows. you know what i mean? the only diff now is that cos being sporeans, we may not be used to the chinese culture (could be other nationalities as well), and therefore we tend to think and analyse a bit more.

i would advise this. spend more time to think about how to build your future wih her.

4. marriage
i think it's more advisable to register in china, though the process is a bit more conmplicated. it is easier to clean up a marriage mess in china than in spore.

Last but not least, i have this advice for you. if you think you can't handle a chinese as a wife (long term) as compared to her on a bed (short term), do like wad most of the bros are doing here. handle them on the bed and forget about it.

personally, my circle of friends are okie with their chinese wives, with the usual hangups you get with sporean wives too, BUT we are happy. how it would turn out depends partially on your own management and fate (of course).

Yes, It is a never ending issue if we tie up with a PRC marriage.
If you are wealthy enough earning a lot then shld be ok. They will have these stupid mentality, all those stupid 3 8 妇女节，7 7 jie, 10 01 GUO qing jie, all these many celebration will suck u dry. If their family members is small in number is okie, u meet those with ten brothers and sisters, u have to spend a lot when u head back for a visit for buying gifts for them.

Then one things u must know is the Angpao u give back to them must not be smaller then the last angpao they give you. And such you must a 555 booklet to remember. If you give back lesser, you will have a lot of negative remark from your In-Law.

Imagine she eng eng say wanna go back to visit, each time average 600sgd excluding the expense mentioned above. What if you have a baby with her and whole family going back 600sgd x 2.5 will be your air tickets. If your parent are invited over to in law celebration=600sgd x4.

Another impt issue:
If future u need her to go out and help contributing to family expense.
