My building (next to raffles place mrt) had two, one guy discharged liao. the process the police team go through is very thorough. they have to keep asking the whereabouts in the past 14 days, who the person came across and interact with, where the person go and they go to these places to continue tracing. for the person who is interviewed, no such thing as privacy hor. they can check your ezlink where made payments, transport etc, in-car unit, buildings entry and exit, anywhere got cctv they can obtain and keep viewing. if you entered a place without cctv, they would keep asking you to recall which office unit you went to and who you spoke to in order to continue the tracing from there. this is life and death after all.

the guy is a salesman so got multiple SIM, had to take out each one registered to his name for tracing. they checked travel apps. all these to establish quite a complete picture for the past 14 days but it takes time. during the time to fill in the jigsaw puzzle, they may keep coming back to ask so that they can expand their tracing lor.

the sad thing is, the guy infected the old parents. heard one still in hospital. heard the virus is very contagious and got cases need intubation, means cannot breathe. his company also kena implicated cos got to do bcp and cleaning etc. he heng he didn't visit FL that period. everyone should really take care this period, don't infect family members. my family still never use serving spoons

dun nid to go chiong only and kena. imagine this, Monday go chiong but no covid. Tuesday get it from RC activity, Thursday show symptoms, Friday warded. When they start contact tracing, they will ask back and will come across the chiong activity and contacts liao

As at 12 noon, 12 March 2020, Thursday. New cases is 9. Total confirmed cases is 187. No one was discharged. Total discharged to date is 96. Remain in hospital is 91. ICU is 9. WHO declared pandemic. PM Lee also appears on TV to reassure Singapore residents that the government is in control of the situation. Many ml complain no business. We don't want to kana contact tracing and sabo them. Hope this virus could attack very very old people in their sleep. Only grandparents who take care of grandchildren exempted. Those into vice should go England asap.

As at 12 noon, 13 March 2020, Friday. New cases is 13 bringing the total confirmed cases to 200. One patient was discharged bringing the total who have recovered to 97. Remaining in hospital is 103. ICU is 11. USA President declared National Emergency, more funds to fight covid-19 virus. Other big news is the electoral boundaries for the next GE. Hope the virus will do a neat job by sending the elderly above 70 to England in their sleep. Cause of death is preexisting illness like hypertension, cholesterol, diabetes, pneumonia, sudden cardiac arrest. Next hot coffee shop discussion will be when is polling day. Weather hot, dengue is on the rise. My area lifts have community sanitizers for free use. One was stolen in a rental block within the first night, got lift CCTV but don't know whether working or for show. Haiz.

Just asking, how do they conduct the contact tracing? If it’s a private one-to-one interview inside a room, should be ok right? Then if I revealed that I went to chiong, etc. they can go ahead and do the tracing without telling my wife about what I revealed? I’m just thinking of any way to go visit an ML because like tahan almost to the limit liao :-(

Walau, damn sia suay man, community sanitizers also want to steal. What is becoming of our society during this critical time. Even the youngsters also spit saliva onto the lift buttons at LRT station and also spitting saliva down from high floor at the crowd in a shopping mall. They think spreading the virus is fun. No wonder our Tommy Koh says we still have 3rd class citizens living in a 1st world country

U cannot blame our youngsters. It's very easy for the govt to import foreign talents across the globe. It creates unnecessary stress within the community and with internal conflicts and misunderstandings, it makes life even more difficult.

So can do just do, cannot then forget it and move on.

As at 12 noon, Saturday, 14 March 2020. New cases is 12. Total confirmed cases rise to 212. Discharged for the day is 8. Total discharged to date is 105. Still in hospital is 107. ICU is 14. WHO says covid-19 pandemic epicenter is now Europe. PM Lee is deliberating on the polling date. He said earliest is next month. Drink water if thirsty so that the virus will be washed down to stomach for chemicals to kill the virus. Have a beautiful Sunday.

Strictly speaking, although situation sound serious, can actually feel that atmosphere has become more relaxed. No more panic buying, sanitizers have dropped in price and easy available. Also don't see many in public wearing face masks any more, no one wiping hawker centre tables with alcohol wipes like the earlier days

Sometimes as the epidemic drags on, people get fatigued with keeping up, and couple of new cases a day start to feel "normal". As long as no kuku people start new clusters

Many of the cases now are 'imported', not just tourists but locals coming back from Europe and US. That's the biggest new cluster now.

Ya lor...after more than one month people sian already. Many people don't bother already. Some brothers already start chiong and didn't kena the virus
